Although Singapore Reflexology centre is located in the middle of busy Yangon City, the ambience of the centre is relaxing and soothing. The parlor is clean and comfortable. The masseurs and masseuses are professional and well-trained. Most speak understandable level of English and Mandarin. The manager helps the customer to choose preferred packages with a menu. I would recommend one hour foot and one hour body massage. The strength of massage is tailored to the need of customer. The type of massage is similar to Asian massage in Singapore and Thailand with infusion of Myanmar massage style. Two hours in this centre rejuvenates me and gives me a short break from hustle and bustle of life.

This was my very first oil massage here in Yangon. And it was amazing! Jeny (who gave me the massage) put the perfect pressure onto my body. Together with the relaxing music and the cozy atmosphere my experience at Nima Spa was just perfect. The prices for the services are all reasonable. I would highly recommend this spa place. Musmeah Yeshua Synagogue

Dating from 1896, this is the only Jewish temple remaining in the city.

We got there about 11:00 AM ( note that the Syngagouge opens from 10:30 AM to 3:30 AM). It's so fascinating to know that Rangoon has some good number of Jewish back in the 1900s and interestingly Israel has a very good diplomatic relationship with Burma back then. Once in the downtown of Yangon this is a place where people should pay a visit! It's a great piece of history!

Popped in here and it was definitely worth a visit. Very interesting to see the local artists work (even if we didn’t buy). The owner is very friendly explaining and showing the different artists works. Located on 2nd floor right where the big street sign is. You enter through a shop and up the stairs in this old beautiful building that would need some more love and tender.

Visited Sapel after reading reviews online and came here to do the Monsoon Season promotion (60min for 15k). Patient and very well-mannered ladies helped us with our massage (Rachel and Yuri). While not as strong as the traditional foot massage by Chinese masseur , overall still a good experience for us! Recommended to come for a relaxing session after a Long day of traveling!

U Thant House

U Thant House is a place to remember the life and work of former United Nations Secretary-General U Thant and to discuss national and global challenges. There is a permanent exhibition featuring dozens of photographs and film footage tracing U Thant's life from the modest beginnings in the Irrawaddy delta town of Pantanaw to his time as the world's premier diplomat. Visitors can also take a guided tour performed by our knowledgeable museum facilitators. Please notice we are open only on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 10am to 5pm. Visits outside these open hours can be arranged.

We had a wonderful visit at this museum. You make a donation of 10,000 at the outside of the building. The docent will invite you to first review the artifacts, photographs and descriptions that are on the second level. There is also a 10 minute video on the second floor. Then you come downstairs and ask for a quick tour of the main floor which basically explains who is in each of the photographs along with U Thant. The docent was quite knowledgeable. You can purchase a guide to the museum, for $3, although they were sold out of English guides when we were there. U Thant a great man. He carefully navigated through several world crises. I believe he would be very disappointed in the current state of the United Nations. The General Assembly seems to be dominated by the 23 Arab and other Muslim countries and their supporters. The Security Council is dominated by the veto power of Russia and China. How sad. If you like this review and or the photographs, please feel free to give me a thumbs up. You may also wish to check out my reviews of other tourist sites in the city as well as in Singapore, Bangkok, Taiwan, cities in Cambodia and Vietnam as well as in Australia, New Zealand, Spain, Portugal, and South America.
