The Gooses Acre Irish Pub

Reviewed By lquiroga74 - Spring, United States

I was not familiar with all the restaurants along the Woodlands Waterway. But last weekend on an early Valentine’s Day date with my husband. We came across The Gooses Acre. Enjoyable music coming from the outside patio area. Staff and service was friendly and prompt. Had the sampler platter very pleased. And the wait staff went way beyond on their service and making it a personal experience. Prices were very reasonable and atmosphere felt like a Pub.

The Woodlands Mall

Reviewed By TallTexWally

The Woodlands Mall is a great place to shop. It is easy to get to, Just off of I-45, north of Houston, and just south of Conroe. There is plenty of parking around the mall. There are plenty of stores and restaurants. Some of the stores are just outside of the main building, such as Barnes and Noble, and P F Chang's. I like the manmade canal around the mall. It's a nice touch of landscaping. Office buildings and hotels, such as Marriott, are nearby. The Woodlands is a well designed community in Montgomery County, Texas. The development covers hundreds of acres. It's just a pleasure to come here. I don't think the area was flooded by Hurricane Harvey in 2017, since The Woodlands is higher in elevation than most of the Houston metropolitan area (about 100 feet above sea level). I didn't see any sign of flood damage. I visited on a Sunday afternoon, and the mall was packed with people. It seemed the place to go. I've been to the Galleria in Houston, and North Park Mall in Dallas, and to be honest, I like the Woodlands Mall better those other shopping centers. I also can't think of any other Mall around Houston that is nicer.
