What a beautiful museum housed in an historic Victorian house. A most enjoyable museum, a large gift shop and beautiful environment. I was happy to stumble onto the annual fiber arts sale. Quilts, yarns, fabrics and various tools for sale. I scored. Pleasant experience.

Such a great selection of wines and so fun to do a tasting! We have been many times in warmer weather and sat outside to enjoy to the views. Inside is charming with little swatting areas and such a vast selection of wines. Did the bubbles tasting this trip and picked up a few: a Sauvignon Blanc from Australia and a Prosecco

Nasty Jack's Antiques

Nasty Jack's Antiques is a family owned and operated antique and collectable store that has been been on the same corner since 1972. We are fun for the whole family! We carry beautiful antique furniture for every taste and budget, new and old nostalgic gift items, thousands of Life Magazines, on-site ice cream and espresso and three vintage kiddie coin operated rides. One of La Conners main attractions! We were voted "Best Antique Store 2009" in Evening Magazines Best Northwest Escapes, top five in this years contest and have won Skagit counties "Favorite Antique Store" several years in a row.

Although drawn to Nasty Jack's by the penny press machine outside the front entrance, I spent a half hour inside wandering the warren of rooms, each one filled with antiques, old collections, books, comics, albums, furniture, clothing, and assorted other treasures. If you enjoy searching for those rare finds in antique stores, this place should not be missed--and seeing how it is on the corner of the main intersection in downtown La Conner, it is nearly impossible to miss.

We love staying at The Heron Inn & Day Spa. Alvin is always so helpful. This time we got in late and everything was ready and laid out for us. Olin was wonderful in the morning and cooked a great breakfast. The food is amazing and the room comfortable and clean. Our room had everything we needed in case we wanted to do our own sanitizing. It had been sanitized before our arrival but there was canister of sanitizing wipes in our room for our use. This is not our first stay and we will return. I highly recommend this Inn. There are stairs, no elevator, so if you stay on one of the upper floors be advised.
