We didn't know much about Sri Lanka before, and Sarath helped make our trip easy, educational, and fun. It was like having a private tour, for a fraction of the price of a group tour. We gave him a list of places we wanted to go, and he added some more and put them into a good itinerary. He suggested to stay in a different place every night, which is more driving for him, but let us see more of Sri Lanka. He was always there on time in the morning, and called the hotels and attractions ahead of time to make sure they were ready for us. The minivan was very comfortable for 3 of us (plus Sarath and driver). His price was very reasonable and included himself and a driver, a minivan, their lodging, and the safari drivers. There were no surprises or hidden costs. We booked for and paid for our own hotels (which was better for us, since we can pick what we like), and pay entry to other activities. He had many suggested activities, but it was always up to us what we wanted to do. Sri Lanka surprised me. It's a beautiful green and clean country, with great food and friendly people. If you've never been, I highly recommend booking with Sarath. I also recommend to try some homestays and home cooked meals - you can find them on AirBnb or some other sites. Other highlights (for us) included the elephant safari, Dambulla cave temple, the train to Ella (Sarath can make ticket reservations 30 days ahead), Little Adam's Peak (in Ella), and Marissa Beach. We missed Sigiriya Rock because of the rain. I would definitely book with Sarath again.The only thing I'll change is to slow down the trip and spend more time at a few of my favorite places, but I'm glad we got to see so many places the first time to get a taste of the country.

In the morning we went to Colombo first. Our driver was Niroshan. He speaks ver very good English. He is a good calm driver. Even when we could not find the person we are looking for, he stayed calm. After that he brought us to Negombo. We felt very safe with this driver. Thanks Niroshan
