Ralph Foster Museum

The Ralph Foster Museum at College of the Ozarks is temporarily closed. To find out more about re-opening visit our website at rfostermuseum.com. The Ralph Foster Museum contains a vast collection of artifacts with special emphasis on the history and culture of the Ozark Mountain Region. Originally housed in Abernathy Hall, a boy's dorm on the campus of College of the Ozarks, the building has been transformed into three floors of exhibits where visitors will find many items of interest, such as antiques, dolls, clocks, music items, a large firearms collection, natural history, and textiles, in addition to the Beverly Hillbillies truck that was used in the television series.

We really enjoyed walking thru this impressive museum during a rainy day. There seemed to be interesting sections displays for everyone. We were so impressed that a little campus would have a museum with so many historical items. We took a photo with the Beverly Hillbillies car; my sister-in-law loved the doll exhibit. We loved seeing all the impressive game & animal displays. My husband liked all the fishing lures & related items. It takes at least 1.5 hours to walk thru.

Titanic Museum

Everyone knows the name Titanic! Everyone knows Titanic struck an iceberg! And everyone knows Titanic was lost! She sat at the bottom of the ocean for 75 years before they found her in 1985. A second expedition to the wreck site went out in 1986 and that expedition was co-led by the owner of this museum. The artifacts you see throughout the ship are REAL and valued at over $4 million dollars. You'll be able to touch a growing iceberg, experience the 28 degree water, try and steer the ship and pay tribute to the 2,208 passengers and crew that were on the Titanic. You will enter as a guest and leave as a Titanic Passenger!

Creation Experience Museum

Experience the Bible like you never have before at the world's only creation museum offering free guided tours and free admission to all visitors. Take a free guided tour from Creation to Christ with Artifacts, Displays, Multi-media presentations, and more!

Reviewed By andyp256 - Paris, United States

A free museum in Branson is rare and this one though small is a really good visit. Here you are presented with a different point of of view which includes science. It is a guided tour. There is lots of stuff to see and hear. Plan on at least an hour from when your tour starts. How soon your tour starts when you get there depends on how long the tour before you has been going. Though smaller (they are planning on building a bigger place closer to branson) the exhibits are every bit as good as the larger creation museum in Kentucky, content wise. Do yourself a favor and try it, it's free so there is no risk.

While looking for things to do we saw ads for beyond the lens and thought we would check into it a little closer. There were good reviews about it and we also found discounts on groupon that saved us money as well. There were vintage games to play and virtual reality games to play as well. There were many places to take pictures and play trivia and word searches. There was also lots of information on various topics and for a small fee there were bumper cars that allowed the riders to spin and flip over their seats during the ride. You can also revisit any time the rest of the day with your receipt so if you are really enjoying yourselves you can leave to eat or rest and return later. It wasn't too pricey and my family of 5 was entertained for a couple hours. My kids said they had a really good time !!
