The 10 Best Spas & Wellness in South Ayrshire, Scotland

April 5, 2022 Lean Nau

The village of Alloway is home to the Robert Burns Birthplace Museum and the Robert Burns Heritage Trail. Highlights of the trail include Auld Kirk Alloway, Burns Cottage, Burns Monument Gardens and the 13th century Brig O'Doon. South of Alloway along the attractive A719 coastal road is Culzean Castle and Country Park which offers much of interest all ages. En route is an unusual roadside attraction called Electric Brae, a 'magnetic hill' where a car left out of gear will appear to go uphill due to an optical illusion. A few minutes drive from Culzean Castle is the famous Open Golf championship course at Turnberry where the clubhouse is open to the public.

Had a great day here, it was the beginning of the week, so not too busy, which was lovely, the staff are very welcoming. The package we had was excellent value, which included a massage,a facial, a two course lunch, and full use of the facilities, included in the cost you are given a lovely fluffy robe, and slippers. Everywhere was spotless, and lovely and warm.If you are looking for the perfect day to chill out, its here. Hope to return again soon.

We stayed at the hotel for one night. It was a treat for my husbands birthday so I booked a hot stone massage for us both. We had to get our treatment at different times with the covid. I also booked a swim in the pool. I had the pool and jacuzzi to myself which was great. Karen the therapist was excellent great massage and really friendly. Its different getting a massage with the covid you both have to wear masks as well. Would highly recommend a massage. Would definitely get one again.

I have been attending Carlo's classes for a couple of years now. From the moment I entered the studio I was made to feel welcomed, comfortable and develop an awareness of my own body and its abilities/limitations. Through practising yoga with My Yoga Place, I have noticed an improvement in my mental wellbeing, physicality and overall fitness. Since the dreaded lurgy began, online classes have really helped me to destress and keep fit. Carlo is always warm, humorous and encouraging - I love the playfulness of his classes and that positions can be adapted for all levels of experience. I recommend My Yoga Place to anyone who is looking to continue their practise or trying for the first time. Thank you! ????
