Sandra is an outstanding massage therapist -- she is knowledgeable, intuitive, and her set-up in a cozy tent at Calheta Beach is just heaven! Everything is spotlessly clean and cozy, with fresh towels and a massage table that is hidden behind curtains for privacy. Sandra is so professional, respectful and caring, her hands immediately find all the trigger points and tense muscles, and she has an incredible healing touch. After a massage session with Sandra, you will feel like you are walking on clouds! Do not miss this experience! It's a real highlight for anyone who visits Calheta.

Had a wonderful full body massage with Luisa today. She was sweet, attentive and gave me an amazing massage. It was the perfect thing to help me relax and get over jet lag! Luisa seemed to know different methods to work every muscle group including some yoga-like stretches that I appreciated as a runner. My two tiny quibbles are that it was harder to find from the road than I would like, and that it wasn't as secluded a spot as photos suggested. The ambiance of the roaring seas was magical, though I would have maybe preferred not to hear so many sunbathers gossiping mid massage. :)

I booked a Relaxing Full Body Massage and it exceeded my expectations! I gained access to the spa facilities for 1/2hr prior to my treatment. There was no one else using it at the time & it was lovely to have the spa pool all to myself to unwind (having a 3 month old baby this was rare & welcomed ‘me’ time). The treatment room was partially open to the outside & with the sound of the waves it was a really relaxing environment. The massage itself was fantastic and I came away in a sleepy relaxed daze. I’m hoping to have another treatment before we leave.

I cannot begin to describe the wonderful massages that I had at Eduardo Relax Spa. I was visiting Madeira for a long weekend and was able to book a 2 hour massage as I try to get regular, monthly massages. I have had massages in many different countries and with many different masseuses and Eduardo’s technique is extraordinary. I have never realized how incomplete prior massages have been. Eduardo really focuses on all body parts and uses a number of different techniques to ensure all the knots and stress is removed. In addition to the massage itself, I really got the sense that Eduardo really cared about my health and well-being. He offered advice on how to maintain a healthy lifestyle and I learned that he spends a significant amount of time taking massage enrichment classes to ensure he continuously improves and this really shows! In addition to this, he is a truly nice guy - when I expressed how much I loved the oil that he used, he offered to go to the store to buy a bottle for me! Because of how much I loved my first visit, I was able to squeeze a second massage during my trip to Madeira. Thanks for the amazing experience Eduardo!
