Tour movie studios, slip your hands into the famous prints at the TCL Chinese Theatre, or indulge in a celeb sighting at one of LA’s white-hot nightspots. Spot your favorite star while shopping at The Grove, or forget all about the famous eye candy as you take in the iconic artwork at The Getty Center. For a different type of star-gazing, peek through the telescopes at the Griffith Observatory.

Unplug Meditation

I loved my time at Unplug, as a student in the gorgeous meditation classes, sound baths, breathwork - all led by incredible teachers at the top of their game - and also as a meditation teacher trainee myself under the wonderful and masterful guidance of Davidji and Suze Yalof Schwartz. If I could give it 10 stars I would!!

Our plane was delayed and that gave me a chance to check out Be Relax! I had a chair massage with Delonna that was wonderful! I was also able to squeeze in a polish change and lip wax! While waiting for the manicurist, I used their massage chairs which were awesome! They have a zero rest position, heat, and targeted massage zones. They also had facials and spa products available.

Leela Spa

To start with, I didn’t have an appointment and they were able to take me within the hour of me calling. Which made it so convenient and the fact that it was walking distance from my vacation rental made it even better. Right on Sunset Blvd surrounded by yummy places to enjoy a treat before or after. My massage started right on time. My masseuse walked me in a few minutes prior which gave me time to undress & prepare for my massage without it cutting into my time. Which was much appreciated because that is usually a complain of mine at any other place. They use up the first ten minutes and last ten minutes for changing ect...Not this place. You get your full time. She massaged me for a full 2hrs just as I paid for. Nothing felt rushed. She took her time, found every knot & spot with tension. Worked on every part of my body slowly & precisely. Truly talented & thoughtful. I could really feel that she was paying attention to my body & what I specifically needed worked on. That is very rare to find. Most masseuses just do the same thing to everyone & this experience didn’t feel like that. Strong hands, she was very careful when standing on me & applying pressure with her full body weight & most importantly, she was very receptive to what my body could endure. I travel the world & have received massages all over places like Asia & Europe so I can honestly say this was exceptional. Work brings me to LA a few times a year & I can tell you that I will be returning to this place every time I visit. Prices are great & if you do check it out, ask for Julie, she knows exactly what to do. Walked in & I could barely move from how tense I was. Now I’m loose & relaxed. So thankful to have my pain alleviated.
