this was such an amazing tour. i had no idea the details of what was going on in colombia only 20 years ago. the fact that these types of tours and help from the government helped build escalators for senior citizens and other folks to use to go up and down the communa is great. carlos has such a deep understanding of the history and also of the meanings of the many beautiful murals across the communa. he picks you up and drops you off in a nice comfortable car and speaks english well. im definitely going to be going consider going on all of his tours.

This tour was such an amazing and memorable tour! Jorge was our tour guide and i 100% recommend him as the tour guide! Hes fluent in both english and spanish. We did the pablo escobar tour and the City of colombia tour with him and we absolutely loved every minute! It was a full day tour for both tours to be completed. He personally knew so many details that it would've been difficult to know had it been a different tour guide. Definitely book this tour and all for Jorge!!

This tour was by far the best experience I have had yet on Trip Advisor! Andres was extremely friendly, passionate and scholarly. He was easy to talk to about anything! All the information he gave us was very interesting and educational. I personally don’t even like coffee, and I still really enjoyed this tour. My boyfriend loves coffee and loved the tour as well. Andres took us through the entire process of making coffee from planting the seed to the different methods of extracting. It was amazing how many flavors you can achieve from the different extraction methods. He took pictures of us along the way so that we could focus on enjoying the experience. The local family he works with were very hospitable and offered us drinks and food along the way. I could not have asked for anything more on this tour. 5+++

located on the east side of Medellin, we can find one of the most picturesque towns in Colombia: Guatape. It's a full day tour in which we can see a replica of what use to be the old and sunken peñol at first, then, we go to have a amazing view at the top of the second biggest rock in south america surrounded by the lake. We are never in a hurry so you have all the time to taste a delicious "michelada" and take all the pictures you want. The lunch is a tasty sample of Colombian gastronomy. The next stop is a tour on a boat around the lake and we finish our trip in "plazoleta de los Zocalos", a colorful place sourronded by artisan souvenirs and coffee shops to delight a first class colombian cup of coffee.

The Graffiti tour was good, but there is still much transformation, education and assistance this community needs. Although this is the most visited South American attraction poverty still surrounds and suppresses the residents. They are in need of new roofs, clean streets and healthy venues. I would suggest a turnstile be installed and monies collected to go directly to the residents. The children should be in school and a health center formed. Motor cars/bikes should be restricted from the walkways with pedestrians access only. This is a job for “Jimmy Carter” and Habitat for Humanity with a little Obama for good measure. Protect the Arts, Artist and the murals. I left sad and defeated. I want to have hope for this change, but now it is only a bandaid.

Jovan and his team were outstanding hosts for our trip in early February. They were able to book us great dinner reservations and nightclub tables that would have been much more difficult for non locals. several were set up before we even arrived. the weekend schedule was full every day and itemized very efficiently. the house accommodations were perfect and our entire groups was extremely happy! We did the graffiti tour with Meghan hosting and she was amazing. highly recommended to do this while visiting Medellin. The Guatape boat trip was great as well. everything went off without a hitch all weekend and would love to link up with Jovan on my next trip!
