West Java (Indonesian: Jawa Barat, abbreviated as Jabar; Sundanese: ᮏᮝ ᮊᮥᮜᮧᮔ᮪ Jawa Kulon) is a province of Indonesia. It is located in the western part of the island of Java and its capital and largest urban center is Bandung, although much of its population in the northwest corner of the province live in areas suburban to the even larger urban area of Jakarta, even though that city itself lies outside the administrative province. Kampung Naga is one of the villages that still applies ancient Sundanese traditional culture and institutions ... They have a "Pundih" or customary elder who takes care of community socialization in Kampung Naga, Tasikmalaya ... Besides Punduh, there is Kuncen the customary chief and Lebay ... There is no electricity, TV, radio etc. in this village ... the traditional farming system and the distribution of village space are based on the values inherited from the ancestors ... Now, this village has developed into a cultural tourism destination in Tasikmalaya ....

I attended Sunday Mass when visiting Bandung City in October. It is just a wonder, when I attend Mass in Indonesia, that Catholics in Indonesia look more faithful than people in any other parts of the world. I always become so excited and healed when I attend Mass there. St. Peter's Cathedral in Bandung is located in the center of the city, and of course a beautiful church. I am so proud of Catholics in Indonesia who keep their faith to Christ in not-Christian-friendly environment. If you are Catholic and visiting Bandung, please come and pray to Lord at St. Peter's.

I arrived in Bandung on the fourth day of my private tour, there are still 10 days left of my time to explore Java with Mr.Edu from Java Private Tour. The tea plantations, the cool temperature and the landscapes are so mesmerizing and catch my eye, I admit Java is a very interesting place to explore, I came here for several reasons, and everything was accomplished in one day, tea, durian, photography and sunset.
