Naughty Little Kids

Goat Dairy Farm Tour. We are open to the public every Sunday afternoon, 1pm-5pm. Pat and feed a baby goat, milk a goat by hand, see a live cheese-making demonstration, sample cheese and gelato that were made on the farm.

Worthwhile visit. Great experience for the kids. Well presented tour. Would recommend to others. Would be good to try some fresh goat milk though. (Although I'm sure health and reg. probably do not permit)

Mountview Alpaca Farm

Tourism based alpaca farm with alpaca gift shop. Feed and pat the alpacas and check out all of the amazing alpaca products. Now located at O'Reilly's Canungra Valley Vineyards, where you can also enjoy amazing lunches and do some wine tasting while you are here! Feed the alpacas every day of the week from 10am.

We 'rented' an alpaca for 30 minutes, this was a fun experience for not just the kids but us adults too. These guys are funny characters and are just so adorable. We were also provided with some food to feed 'Noodle'. Highly recommend taking your little ones to this farm!

Marian Valley - Shrine of Our Lady Help of Christians

Reviewed By PandukaJ - Nugegoda, Sri Lanka

Our friends drove us to this spiritually uplifting place of worship. It is spanking clean and tidy throughout befitting a highly rated religious place of worship. An ergonomically designed chapel is located a few meters away from the car park. A walk from the chapel to the left will take visitors on a trek covering the way of the cross. Throughout the other well maintained and manicured areas, structures / places of worship dedicated to Mother Mary from churches around the world, installed with either pictures or statues with a brief informative history can be found. According to my memory areas dedicated to Lourdes, Fatima, Velankanni, Guadalupe and unique churches from other countries such as Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Poland etc. as well as areas of worship dedicated to saints Joseph, Anthony, Theresa and a new area for Mother Theresa (under construction) too can be found among others. I understand that this is a retreat centre to reflect and pray in a secluded environment. Highly recommended for all interested catholic believers. The public toilets were among the best found in Australia or anywhere in the world.

Canungra War Memorial

The War Memorial is a fitting tribute to the local people who lost their lives in war. It's set in a very attractive park and is floodlit at night. We ate our lunch sitting in the park, appreciating the surroundings.

Wild Horse Mountain Lookout

Reviewed By sandbread - Queensland, Australia

Travelling the Bruce Highway between Brisbane Airport, Caboolture and the Sunshine Coast in Qld - have you also thought "must stop there on day". Well we were guilty of that, but are now glad we did it! On a whim we hopped off at the big exit sign and did the 700m steep walk up. So glad we did. Especially as in the previous 4 days we'd taken various Glass House Mountains pix, but none as close or good as this! Just watch out for wild life, saw a big brown on the way down...

I am so glad we stopped here. Three volunteers on site love their community and happily volunteer their time. Apart from this being a Information Centre there is a great range of art (local artists), photography, pottery, handmade items and local jams and olive oil on sale. What a difference it makes when visiting an info centre and the staff know their region. Very happy and friendly gentleman and two ladies when we can through in Eat Local Week. Thank you for making us smile.

Gallery Walk

Reviewed By Bellridge - Caversham, Australia

Amazing road/walk which is completely China’s with souvenir shops, eateries, food, sweetshops, breweries, cheese shops, distillery and even clothing and a cuckoo clock shop. Walk one side, one way and then back the other. Plenty of parking too. And all on one road. Don’t forget to drive further down the mountain. Also check out the Curtis Falls Cafe and The Manor Hotel.

Denham Reserve Scenic Reserve Waterfalls

Reviewed By colinv401 - Logan City, Australia

Firstly this area is not recommended for Families with kids, elderly or persons suffering from back, knee, hip problems etc. Also, ensure you have suitable footwear, thongs (flip flops) do not recommend. The hike down is difficult with cliff edges, thorns (do not tickle when you hit these) and the rocks are wet and slippery. You start behind farm properties until the track descends down into the George, you will then encounter a number of steps leading down. It is all worth the effort as you are greeted by a waterfall and large swimming hole the water is nice and cold on them hot balmy days. So if you are adventuress, like a little challenge it is 100% worth the hike ..
