Came here during a rainy day which we didn’t really have anything planned to do anyway just wanted to escape the rain more than anything else. It’s a really nice and well organized place where you can see 4 small 3-5 minute 3D videos on Rome’s history and then you go to the main theater where you can watch the main show. I left this review very limited because I don’t want to spoil anything for anyone. But if you have 30 minutes to burn and will be in central Rome I highly recommend this place.

Among the many fountains Rome offers, situated in the center of Piazza Navona, this one’s sculpture is a dramatic creation of 4 river Gods. At one end of this Piazza is a fountain with a sculpture of Neptune fighting an Octopus. These are elaborate multipurpose fountains. According to the internet, the movies: Eat, Pray, Love and The Talented Mr. Ripley were filmed in both this location and The Spanish Steps. I think Rome has many places that make great places for movie scenes.

Little remains of original 13th century church.Michelangelo sculpture inside.Superb 15th century frescoes including some by Lippi and the tomb of Pope Paul the 4th.Body of St Catherine of Siena (minus the head) lies under the high alter.

This church is right off the Piazza Navona. It has art work from several Renaissance masters that you wouldn’t expect in a church that is off the main radar of people visiting Rome. If your in Rome on Sunday, mass is lovely here in an intimate setting. Worth a visit.

One of my favourite destinations when visiting Rome. The villa is full of magnificent art and sculptures. The complimentary audio guide is a very personalized glimpse into the world of one of Rome’s most important aristocratic families, their colorful lives, and their sense of duty to maintain their rich history for all. The audio guide is narrated by Prince Jonathan Doria-Pamphilj who shares personal memories, stories of his ancestors, and details about various works of art including famous works by Caravaggio. It is one of the very few Italian palaces which have their original art collections still in tact.

This is a great little street to walk down for a few blocks to do some window shopping and soak up some good Roman vibes. We started at Piazza Navona and walked until the San Salvatore in Lauro church. We passed various antique shops, clothing stores, food stores, etc.
