We produce maple syrup and grow strawberries, sweet corn, tomatoes, squash, pumpkins, sweet potatoes for sale at local farmers' markets and directly from our farm. We have a health inspected farm kitchen where we make pies, tarts, cookies, muffins, jam and other preserves from scratch using our own or other locally grown produce. We run sugar bush tours from family day until the beginning of April and a corn maze and other fun farm activities from mid September until the end of October. Our farm store is open year round, with hours that vary with the changing seasons. Pick your own strawberries are available in the month of June, and sometimes early July, depending on the weather.

We just celebrated my daughters wedding at Ruthven on Saturday. The grounds and buildings are so beautiful it makes for a wonderful garden party venue. Not only is it so pretty and picturesque, the staff are amazing to work with. Kelly was so wonderful to help with the coordinating, always very eager to answer any questions. We had the Coach house for the dinner, and it could not have been more perfect. The staff in the morning after the wedding were also very helpful with the clean up of all our things. Definitely would recommend this venue for a wedding!!

Port Maitland Lighthouse

This pier has a breathtaking view of Lake Erie, on any given day! Great for the whole family, walking or fishing from pier. Lots of benches to rest on, sunbath on, read a book and enjoy the fresh air. People are very friendly. Lots of parking for cars and trailers. Park right next door, for the kids to enjoy themselves. Gazebo further down to have a picnic and lovely maintained gardens, with well kept plants. Place to put your boat in the water. Nice sandy beach to stroll along. All kinds of fish to catch, including lots of perch, gar, bass and pike. My family and i go there at least 3-5 times spring, summer and fall. Look forward to seeing you there! Enjoy...
