Great little shops to stroll thru: a framers market and then a bakery/snadwich type place and we went on a Saturday AM and they had a duo performing as well. What's not to like

Consenses' exhibit is an all ages artistic journey through the senses allowing visitors to touch, smell, taste, watch, listen and interact with art using each piece as a lens through which to perceive the inner world of the artists. The Exhibit, a mere 1 minute walk from the Vineyard Haven Ferry, is a series of 6 rotating sets. Each began its life as a photograph which was then given to a musician to interpret and translate into a song, their song was interpreted by a dancer, their dance was interpreted by a poet, their poem by a painter, the painting by a perfumer, the perfume by a sculptor and the subsequent 7 piece collection by a set designer. The result of experiencing Consenses is an overall feeling of "enlightenment," empathy, excitement, appreciation, understanding and peace. Visitors are encouraged to interpret the art on display for themselves and express their own perceptions using creative centers within the exhibit. Come spend an hour or a day with us discovering the nature of your own internal process. Leave with a broader understanding of yourself, others and the world around you.

The glass work was absolutely beautiful. The owner explained the different types of glass, had specialty glasses for us to wear to see the colors as he made the glass pieces.

The Cape has a plethora of galleries, but this one really stands out. There is a good variety of paintings, prints and sculptures here. The art is displayed in a charming 1850s Cape house, much as you might see it in your own home. The paintings are full of color and life, and are done by a range of emerging artists to artists of world renown. The exhibits change monthly, so make sure to make it to an opening, with live music and even livelier conversations. A must-see if you are on the Cape and love art.

This gallery is a co-op of talented artists. While a few works are 'pricey' MOST are quite fair and beautifully executed, a 'find' for us on Cape and our visitors. Limited off-season hours. Check their website.

Wonderful original paintings and prints of the originals that are representational but completely modern in their approach and emotional appeal. Serious art that will look even better in your home than it does in the gallery. Lauren Di Ferdinando's works are meticulously crafted and, while generally fairly large, they shimmer like jewels. Can't praise them enough. When you visit the gallery you are likely to meet the artist who is charming and unassuming and willing to discuss her art with you. A must stop if you are looking to decorate a home here on the Cape. JMO.

You can wander through the several floors of this 'interior parade of shops" with both a great sense of exploration and a constant reward of finding whatever you came to buy. Thornes is, in a word UNIQUE.

The Kraft family, in an effort to preserve team history and honor the greatest Patriots of all-time, built and opened The Hall in 2008. It has since undergone championship renovations to enhance its Super Bowl Experience exhibit, which takes guests inside the team’s five Super Bowl wins. It includes the sparkling Vince Lombardi Super Bowl trophies and championship rings, an interactive that allows guests to virtually make Malcolm Butler’s Super Bowl XLIX-clinching interception, and the new Anatomy of a Comeback area that breaks down the Super Bowl LI win. The Hall regularly adds to its collection and changes out artifacts and exhibits to ensure a fresh experience.

Lots of interactive displays. The history of the team is explained very well, with great memorabilia and informative graphics. Its small enough to be able to see everything in a couple of hours, or you could spend more time lokung at, and reading all of the info, and using the interactive displays. On the day we went, there was sn opportunity to seecand touch the Super Bowl rings. But the line was so long, and so slow moving that it would have been necessary to send out for pizza! But if you are a fan of the Pats or of football in general, it is a very good take.
