Our kids look forward to stopping into this amazing & magical book store in Parry Sound. Since they were small we’ve been making the trip on the way to our camp site at Killbear. Absolutely worth the trip!

Took my fellow foodie friend Michelle here and got the saying tour. She said it was the best tour she’d ever been on. It’s a really cool little store. You can taste test any of the many olive oils and video vinegars and the owners have some great pairing recommendations. I am addicted to the lime olive oil/ pomegranate quince vinegar combo. I have it on salad at least 4X a week The orange olive oil and chocolate balsamic are delicious on vanilla ice cream There are too many delicious combos to name The owners will tell you about where they get their oil and how it is extracted etc. It’s very interesting Bring my sll your goodie friends when they come to visit. They won’t be disappointed

Jessica Vergeer Studios is a studio, gallery and dress shop run by Parry Sound artist and fashion designer Jessica Vergeer. Her downtown Parry Sound location at 18 James Street showcases both her own paintings as well as selected work by other local artists and designers. When she's not busy making her own work, Jessica runs scheduled step-by-step painting classes at her studio. I received a gift card from my family because they know I treat butter gallery as my local art gallery with my regular visits. It's great to chat with Andrea and Suzanne who made my selection easy by bringing pieces to our home for trial. Two or three paintings at a time gave us the opportunity to see them in different lights, get a sense of how they made us feel over a few days and get the opinion of friends about our choices. We are very pleased with our choice even though it was difficult because there were several we really liked. butter gallery displays a variety of landscape, abstract, animal art- big and small; beautiful jewellery, sculpture and metalwork. Worth the visit! Definitely worth a visit.

Found some really good deals and some beautiful well priced Antiques. It took a couple hours to walk entire market, especially if you go into each room and look in all the corners. Some gems that I found I hunted for, but am so pleased I did. The proximity to Downtown Thornbury and restaurants was within 2 km.

We are a family of 4 with children aged 7 and 9. We stayed a few nights at Blue Mountain and had a wonderful time. There’s so much to do; the Ridge Runner, mini putt, obstacle courses, play areas, gondola rides, movies in the square, shopping, or just sitting at the dock enjoying the outstanding views of the mill pond. We even enjoyed taking the shuttle to the private beach where we had a relaxing time swimming and kayaking. We were all able to walk far into the lake, because it’s a good distance before it starts getting too deep for the kids. Overall, we had a wonderful time making lasting memories with our kiddies.
