We enjoyed a spectacular day in southwest Florida with Everglades Day Safari! Our guide, Alex, was extremely knowledgeable on the history of the area. Her understanding of the natural science of each environment that we explored was impressive...she was able to identify every plant and species that we came across! Alex kept our group of twelve on schedule throughout a full day of activities! We had front row seats for a thrilling “show” put on by three beautiful dolphins during our morning boat ride with Captain Chris, learned about the local flora and fauna on our nature hike with Alex, enjoyed a tasty meal and great conversation with our group during our lunch at Everglades City, saw many alligators of all sizes during our drive through Big Cypress Natural Preserve and ended the day with an exhilarating fan boat ride on Lake Trafford! Each member of our family of six thoroughly enjoyed the day...a perfect introduction to the Florida Everglades and all of its natural beauty!

Thank you for showing us a great time. Amanda, our tour guide was friendly and a wealth of information about the property, the wildlife and their care — which was evident as we got up close and personal to the different herds. Amanda made sure we got great photo opportunities as we were able to feed a great variety of animals. The personal time with the lemurs and coatis was really fun as they climbed all over us looking for their next treat. Well worth the admission price! We will be back with friends and family. One of the best tours in Florida and privately owned and operated. Admission price helps to take care of the animals. Will come again in a heartbeat.

We had such a wonderful time at the CMA and on the boat. It was an extra $20 in top of the park entry...... totally worth it. Our captain Marv and our guide Hannah were so much fun. We saw dolphins, osprey and lots of other birds. The stop of shell island was fun. Staff were so knowledgeable and were great at answering kids questions. The crew shared interesting info and invited the kids to watch them drop a research net and catch local sealife (which they released when they return).
