Cathedral of Saint Paul

This Classical Renaissance-style Cathedral dating back to 1915 features a splendid interior of six chapels, imported marble columns, large statues of the four evangelists and beautiful rose windows.

Reviewed By jerb2014 - Bristol, United States

The cathedral is perched on a hill with a commanding view of the city and the capitol building. There is street parking and a lot for the church itself. Inside, the cathedral is filled with stunning artwork including a replica of Michelangelo's Pieta and some colossal statues of the Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Behind the altar there are small chapels representing various ethic groups that were so very nice to see. A huge vaulted ceiling soars to the heavens. Just so very much to see. A incredibly serene and peaceful setting for prayer and reflection in this hectic world Well worth a visit.

Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church

Reviewed By Jilly070 - Hudson, United States

What a gorgeous church! This church has so much history! My father is Catholic and I have heard stories of this church, and read up on it before visiting so I knew what I was looking at. If you go to the church’s website, there is so much intriguing information. The name Lourdes is from a small town in France, where it is said that Mary, Jesus’ mother, came to a little girl and told her to drink water from a grotto. To this day, visitors still visit this spot hoping to find healing and miracles. It is the longest continuously running church in Mpls. It was built in 1857, but has operated as this church since 1877, and became a US historic landmark in 1934. It is very majestic to look at. Stunning, actually!!!

Basilica of St. Mary

Nation's First Basilica

Reviewed By Happy10958 - New Hampton, United States

The Basilica, which is attractive but not awe-inspiring from the outside, is beautifully crafted inside. It is tastefully ornate rather than being garish. After Sunday Mass, docents lead visitors on an informative, guided tour, providing fascinating history about the architecture, the artwork, the relics. After Mass and the tour, take a few moments to sit and contemplate .... you will be uplifted.

Eagle Brook Church - Spring Lake Park

Eagle Brook is one church with multiple locations. The heart behind everything we do is to reach people for Christ so that lives are transformed. Each weekend service lasts about one hour. We begin with a time of singing and worshiping God, hear a message based on the Bible, and then wrap up by praying together.
