Just impressive. It is a beautiful church, where the inside of the church is decorated with dark wood in comparison to most of other churches in Bogota that have gold or white tones.

Santuario del Divino Nino

The area is not the best area of Bogota, but if you are going to pay your dues to Baby Jesus (Divino Nino) you will be protected and if you find someone honest to drive you around like the guy who drove us all around Bogota you will enjoy your stay. The Sanctuary is a nice spiritual place, I did promise to Divino Nino that if my princess back then 4 years old diagnosed with Leukemia, now she is 13 yrs old and healthy I was going to go to his sanctuary to give my thanks and I did and I'm very grateful to God for the opportunity to experience to be at the presence of his Son, very impressed with how many people at the main church, there is a mass every hour and always full, the area is not the best of Bogota but if your Faith takes you there you have nothing to worry about, of of Course you have to pay for someone to drive you around, but remember you are in a country you don't know much about it, and if you are treated like VIP what else you can ask for, we found Mr. Jerley Reyes and he took us to the Sanctuary and from that time on he would stay with us until he drove us to the El Dorado airport from the Hotel 3 days later, we even have a coffee as a farewell, he parked his cab at the airport parking lot and when into the airport with us until we checked in our luggage and he waive good bye to us, he made us feel like we were his family. Very Nice Guy! Now we have a friend in Bogota we even took his wife and little daughter to lunch with us and the family atmosphere was all we need to trust Mr. Jerley Reyes, in summary Go with God and He will be with you at all times!
