A lovely lady called Gulia took my husband and I on a walk round Rome sampling food and drink from various shops and a superb pasta lunch. If you are going todo this tour I advise you not to eat much beforehand as we finished the tour around 2:00pm and did not eat another thing all day. We had meats and cheese with some wine to start off with and then followed this in a picturesque market square with tasting various oils and vinegars. Roman Pizza and beer were next, followed by a delicious lunch of two different types of pasta. Then followed dessert of either cannoli or tirimisu at another stop off point, ice cream and coffee to finish. Never felt so full. Guila was full of interesting conversation about her city. All in all a great day out ending at the Trevi fountain.

The day was good however a couple of constructive feedback points for you 1) when I first looked at the trip the meeting point was at the end of the road the hotel was on, however your e-ticket and website made us go to the main bus station 20 mins tram ride away and the tour guide commented as I hadn’t checked in a Julian’s Bar, as everyone else had. 2) the second point is to do with the final leg of the trip in Siena, when it was pouring with rain and we were about to head back to the bus and the tour guides boss had come up with another great idea for the small cost of €3 everyone could get the trenino back to the bus, half the clients didn’t want to do this and we were made to stand in the rain getting wet whilst the main tour guide waited for the trenino to arrive before the walkers were allowed to set off on foot back to the bus. Had I not stepped up and asked for the walkers to be allowed to walk with a guide without waiting, we would of been soaked!

Our family used this wonderful company for a day trip from the port. From the driver, Simone, waiting for us (with a smile) at the port terminal as we exited the cruise boat to telling our group of seven all about Tuscany (as we drove towards Florence), this adventure was outstanding. Simone (being born and raised in Pisa), was well versed on past and current happenings of this beautiful area. His recommendation for a place for lunch could not have been more spot on. We were fortunate to have Marco as our tour guide for this trip and he was excellent. Very professional and knowledgeable. Took us to a vineyard in Tuscany as well as. Took the time to make reservations at a beautiful restaurant in Florence and the food was amazing. Very clean vehicle waters for everyone. It was fantastic and very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend him to anyone!

Massimo picked us up on time at the hotel and we spent a wonderful day exploring Montalcino and Montepulciano. He was friendly and knowledgeable. The tour was well paced and included visits to two wineries. I would recommend to anyone interested in a private tour of the Tuscan countryside.
