Merri Creek Trail

Reviewed By platypus150 - Melbourne, Australia

A sunny day and a pleasant walk around the Clifton Hill area. I do like how the bridges allow entry and exit from the Trail enabling people to build the right sized adventure. I love the bridge at Rushall railway station where the Capital City Trail joins the Merri Creek one.

Yarra Bend Golf

Melbourne's premier public golfing facility with an 18 Hole Golf Course, State of the art Driving Range and 36-hole Adventure Mini Golf!

Reviewed By russuz - Melbourne, Australia

Played 18 holes here yesterday and it was only my second round since the re routing of the original layout of the course. Easily the best conditioned greens I’ve putted on along with one of the best locations of any public golf course in Melbourne with practice facilities second to none, city skyline views and proximity, Yarra Bend Golf Course remains a gem. Could not believe my luck on the short par 3 4th hole due to having my first ever hole in one since I’ve been playing golf, we all celebrated with a few ice cold beers after our round at one of the many outdoor eating table locations. Our playing group will be definitely back to tee it up again sooner rather than later!

O'Connell Reserve

Reviewed By 619jeffry - Essendon, Australia

O'Connell Reserve is a green area that adjoins the Yarra River, near Bridge Rd. It gives access to the Yarra River Trail. It's good for bike riders, there is also a mooring for small boats. It has two rotundas and drinking fountains. By the way, if you want to hold an event, you can get a permit from the City of Yarra.
