The Safarihestar Horse Rental is located on the south shore of lake Myvatn at the Alftagerdi III farm, 400 m. West of Sel-Hotel Myvatn. We offer guided riding tours in beautiful surroundings with a nice view over the whole lake. The tours are one or two hours depending on people's desires. Longer tours can be arranged for very experienced riders.

We are a small family business including about 25 Siberian Huskies, grandmothers, grandfathers, our children, Bergþóra, Sæmi and more close family members. All of our dogs are friendly (sometimes a little bit to friendly...), they love to exercise and the attention they get from our guests.
