Bike Skull Ischgl - Bikeguide Patrick Zangerl

Twinfly - Tandemfluge

My name is Daniel. I grew up here in the Pazauntal with the towns of Galtür, Ischgl, Kappl and See and I live here. I've been paragliding for over 25 years and can look back on many wonderful flights. Safety and fun are my top priorities.

Ischgl-Samnaun ski area

Reviewed By Oasisgirl80 - Cambridge, United Kingdom

This is an ideal resort for confident intermediate skiers. Lots of red and blue runs (not always a huge difference between red and blue) and only a small number of blacks which are easily avoided if you don't like those. If you're confident on red runs you can happily explore the pistes. Beginners who only want to stick to blues might find it a bit limiting and would need to carefully plan their route, and thrill-seekers wanting lots of extreme black slopes might not be satisfied here. Otherwise it's a fantastic resort with stunning views and lots of lovely wide pistes. In one week we covered most of the resort using only the resort ski pass. If I came back again I might try going further afield with the area pass. It's one of the higher altitude resorts in Austria which means good snow. The resort is well run (good lifts, mountain restaurants and facilities are clean and well organised).
