According to famed diver Jacques Cousteau, the Great Blue Hole of Belize is one of the most spectacular dive sites on earth. The crystal-clear sapphire waters are home to colorful tropical fish and several species of reef sharks – ideal for brave divers who love to get up close and personal with sea life. On dry ground, diverse rainforests, mangrove swamps, and Mayan ruins are perfect for exploration. The beaches of Belize are sunny and tranquil spots for a day of relaxation.

We toured with Donicio (Junior) while on a family vacation to Belize. He gave us a fantastic tour - stopping many times along the river to show us unique wildlife and describing the history of the river and its significance to Belize. The site of Lamanai itself is awe inspiring and Donicio was so knowledgeable and proud of the Mayan history and his ancestors. Such a memorable visit for our family - thanks Donicio!

Our Airbnb hosts recommended this company for our adventures, and we were not disappointed! Robin always responded to my emails quickly and gave me all the information I needed. Plus, he gave us the most excellent, personalized service. We told him our interests, and he gave us suggestions that would work for our family at a good price. Then he picked us up from where we were staying and provided prompt transportation to and from our activities. We were well taken care of! If you are staying in the area, you'll get great service and great prices here.

We wanted a last minute sunset sail before we left Belize and Capt George took great care of us! There was just the two of us (due to covid) but he still gave us a wonderful experience! He’s a life long resident and fisherman and has lots of stories and history if interested. Highly recommend!

This was my second excursion with Five Star and they continue to impress. If I could give them six gold stars, I would. We were safe, secure, had the best time. Kenton was a great guide and a lot of fun.

My family and I (4 adults and 2 kids) booked this tour through Shore Excursioneer. The boat ride to the island is approximately 30 minutes from the port. Upon arrival, I felt like I had found Gilligan’s Island. The island itself is gorgeous and surrounded by beautiful blue/aqua water. The day we were there was very windy so none of us decided to snorkel, but we still enjoyed ourselves. For $10, you can rent a beach chair. We chose to just put our beach towels down and relax in the sun. The kids played in the water and spent time walking the beach. This is a great place to get some amazing pictures! Plan to eat lunch there because the food is incredible. The adults had the lobster tails and the kids had the grilled chicken. The portions were big and the prices were good. I had read about overcrowding on the island and I can report that this was not the case when we were there. There was approximately 50 people there which gave us plenty of room to roam and not feel crowded.

Akeem Williams and his crew from Cultural Experience Belize picked us up at the seaside dock at Umaya where we were staying, avoiding us having to spend any time driving on roads, and we spent the day on the water. We went first to Conch Caye for snorkeling with stunning corals and fish, then to Silk Caye to swim with eagle rays, stingrays, nurse sharks, and sea turtles, then on to refreshments at King Lewey's. Chef Troy prepared lunch for us on Conch Caye - fresh grilled hogfish, pineapple, chicken, and cheesy potatoes (and Belikin and water). Akeem shared stories about Belize's local history, culture, and traditions. Fabulous time, great guide, and very helpful crew. Definitely recommend.

Nestled in a lush 50 thousand acre estate, Caves Branch Jungle Lodge is an escape from the hustle and bustle of the world. From the moment you step foot at the Lodge, you are immersed in the tranquility of this calm oasis. Take in your surroundings which are not sanitized from the jungle and become one with nature. You can only believe your experience once you step into our world of adventure but once you do, it will never be forgotten.
We travel pretty often and I almost never write reviews but we honestly had such a great time here, I feel like everyone should know about this place! We recently spent a week at the Caves Branch Lodge near Belmopan with our three kids who are 11, 9, and 7. We stayed in one of the tree house cabins with a gorgeous view of the canopy, which was such a cool experience (and being 136 steps up from the ground, a pretty good daily workout! ;). The grounds of the lodge including the pool area, the river, and the restaurant were lovely and the food and level of service were outstanding. We did a different excursion every day and while we limited ourselves to the ones that are age appropriate for young children (the Mayan ruins at Xunantunich, a day trip to Tikal in Guatemala, the Belize zoo, horseback riding, zip-lining, and cave tubing), they were all exciting and fun for the whole family. You can tell that the staff puts a lot of time and care into planning and running these tours because they are all so efficient and well run - there was no waiting around, no confusion about where to go, all of the guides were incredibly kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. I honestly can't say enough good things about them. Near the end of our stay, we asked our kids which activity was their favorite and they kept insisting that all of them were and they are already asking to go back in a few years in order to do the more adventurous, physically demanding tours. We had a wonderful family vacation here.

We did the snorkeling & reef fishing trip with them. The value of the snorkeling was great as we got lunch & drinks included along with I think it was four different locations of snorkeling. We saw a lot of wild life, stingrays, turtles, nurse sharks & even got to swim with a dolphin (which is rare) & a lot of other species, along with the beautiful coral. The crew was great! Fishing was also fun, we caught yellow fin snapper, nothing big, but they put up a good fight & the two that took us out were also very nice & attentive. I would like to give a special thanks to Byron, he was very helpful at our hotel, with luggage, arranging the tours, and our golf cart. Byron is very friendly & great to just sit and chat with also, I know he’ll make a great tour guide! Highly recommend using this company.
