The 10 Best Nightlife in Charleston, South Carolina (SC)

April 5, 2022 Fernanda Pittenger

Historic Charleston is bursting with Southern charm and hospitality. The city feels a bit like it’s suspended in time, thanks to its antebellum architecture and surrounding plantation landscapes. Take in incredible views of the Battery and the French Quarter as you stroll the Waterfront Park, then become inspired by the cultivated beauty of the gardens at Middleton Place. At night, try a ghost tour for an introduction to the spooky side of the city.

Wow! I felt like I was at an intimate jazz club in New York City - only difference was the price (really? How do they exist at these low ticket prices?). Music was fabulous, the love for the art of music was palpable and the camaraderie among everyone at the club was so much fun to experience. Whether you love jazz and old time big band music or you want to experience it for the first time - don't miss this venue and these musicians.

This was a fun place to go. A small dive bar with dollar bills stapled all over the walls. The fish and chips were so good! We also had a southern Reuben! It was delicious . Would definately recommend.

The Pub Tour is a fun and unique tour, which includes visits to many historic pubs (some with rooftop views of the city), old taverns frequented by pirates, breweries haunted by ghosts, and a large dose of Charleston's history. Our exclusive Brewery Tours highlight Charleston's local craft beer scene and are a great way to sample a variety of local brews while hearing the fascinating story behind Charleston beer, with a behind-the-scenes glimpse of several local breweries.
