The path leading up to the ground is breathtaking with pine trees lining the road.....a museum is in the premises depicting the military history of the nation......a greenhouse, cafe and souvenir shop all located therein.....a wonderful place to visit

A beautiful place to hike near Shimla, its a easy trek and families can also go here. Do carry lots of water with you as there is no source of water en-route. On a clear day you can see the mountains all around and its a good place for photography.

The climb can be quite high in certain places - especially with the steps. There is a more scenic route as well - with less height but takes longer - is a much nicer walk. The temple is filled with monkeys so be careful of your belongings

If you are nature lover and bird watchers this is the place.Mesmerising deep dense forest where you are totally into the nature.At the entrance of the gate ticket need to be taken to visit as there is limit of visitors.It is a 7 kms walk and you can do cycling also.Cycles can be hired there only.

Amazing place to capture pics. But you have to take into account the strong ray of sunlight that comes from that hillside. The landscape is simply majestic. The sunset time might be just perfect to witness the beauty of the place. Green lush trees and mountains behind that makes it a worthy place to stop and capture the moments. The Green Valley is a beautiful and breathtaking mountain range that falls on the way to Kufri from Shimla. This spectacular valley is God's gift to the wonderful and charming city of Shimla and is every tourists' answered prayer to being able to find a place bereft of pollution, constant traffic jams and incessant noise and din. Tani jubbar lake is situated within the apple country of Shimla district between Narkanda and Thanedar. Tucked away from the main road the lake is a hidden gem. The lake is encircled with high mountains full of Deodar and their reflection on the rippling waters look beautiful. A stoned walkway is build around the lake and there's a serene Nag Devta temple beside the lake.
