We had an amazing time the location was great . Nice family , awesome food, we decided to take the shuttle el I wish I took the guided tour to learn more of this area , if you visit Manuel Antonio this is a place to visit , my family loved it , this company provided a cooler so can bring my own drinks , lunch can arrange if book in advance , if I only knew about this place sooner I am sure I was going to visited more that once , you will love this place

Along the trail through the M A national park, observe the flora and fauna, listen t o the call of exotic (for North Americans anyway) birds and at trail's end rejoice in the awesome views of Playa Manuel Antonio. Take your swimsuits. Monkey's galore and sloths high in the trees but the beach on the cove is the gem. Spend the afternoon if you take a light meal or snacks. And take water. There are adequate bath facilities.

Went to manual Antonio for our hike our private guide suggest we stop at the beach and we are glad we did The ocean was warm and calm great for swimming Paddle boards and kayaks available for rent Sun umbrellas and chairs available for rent $4000/hour for 2 chairs is what we were quoted Chose not to use them $2000 ceviche was okay Chips and pop available from local people Reminded me of Thailand Monkeys all around Was well worth the visit

Our Special Wildlife Tour is from 9 AM until 11 AM on Mondays, Weds, Fridays and Sundays. Our tour is given by the Animal Caretakers in the Wildlife Sanctuary and includes a snack at the end of the tour. (Special tours can be arranged for groups by appointment only.) You will see the following animals in the Sanctuary: • Spider monkeys • White Faced Monkeys • Squirrel Monkeys • Tamarins • Marmosets • Nocturnal Kinkajou (if he is awake) • Parrots • Porcupine • Our multi-species enclosure which is the largest in Central America where humans walk through a cage inside of the enclosure so that the monkeys climb all around you. This newly expanded tour includes our Vet Tech feeding rescue animals that are not normally seen by the public due to the fact that they will be released back into the rainforest. Our Vet Tech will also give a talk and take questions about the animal being shown (through a glass wall for the animal's protection). Animals being shown could vary, so when you book your tour feel free to ask what animal you will get to view. Suggested Donation for the tour is suggested $40 for adults, $25 for kids (under18). The person booking the tour needs to take a deposit of $5 per person to confirm the tour. The people taking the tour will give the money to the Zoo Keeper at the end of the tour, either cash or credit card (a 13% tax will be added when using a credit card). To book a tour, please call or speak to your receptionist. Please be sure to book 48 hours prior to the tour. Sometimes emails take awhile to arrive and we want to make sure we are prepared. We will confirm with you, prior to the tour. The tour meets in the lobby with the glass enclosed computer room, at 9 AM. If you’re in the area, this is a must. We stayed in Quepos and took a cheap and short bus ride to the park (335 colones). When you get off the bus in MA go immediately left, you’ll walk for 5-7 minutes past vendors and people wanting to be your guide. The ticket office is right near the park on the right hand side. The trails are well kept, the animals were beautiful, and beaches stunning - so bring your bathing suit and plan to stay for the day. There’s change rooms and fresh water showers to rinse off - you can’t use soap of any kind. I’d recommend reading about what food/snacks you’re allowed to bring in. Any single use package seemed to be denied. We brought in buns in a resealable bag and we were fine. Careful when you have the bags out, the monkeys seems to know when food is around and will try and steal it
