My girlfriend and I took about a two hour tour to isla corazón. Carlos was our tour guide he was very professional friendly and very knowledgeable of the ecosystem of the river and the mangrove system. We saw countless species of birds and the habitat of the crabs living in the mangrove. 12 dollars made for an amazing day trip thank you Carlos.

Located only 17 miles off the coast of Ecuador, this island is encircled by many reefs that make it a popular destination for scuba divers and snorkelers.
It is a really nice day trip where you get very close to the birds. Go for the "long" hike. It is quite easy and takes only 1,5 hours. Price har rissen to 40$ most places. They start at 45 and then lower it to 40 everywhere.

We are located on kilometer 25 on the road between Pedernales and Jama. Hours of operation: Monday to Sunday 8am - 5pm Entrance Fee: $5,00 per person. Children under 8 years old are free.
