This is a World Class beach that is virtually undiscovered. You really have this beach to yourselves as there are few or no people. The water is incredible and normally very calm with a beautiful sand bottom and fantastic clear blue warm water.

Home to one of the largest frigate (or man-of-war or hurricane) bird colonies in the world.
On my recent trip to Barbuda, I got to watch the amazing mating habits of Frigate birds. In a well preserved sanctuary that is only reachable by small boat you can watch the females with their white under bellies get woo by the males with the inflated red pouches. A magnificent show of nature.

About 143 feet above sea level, a cave winds its way underground for about a mile. Ancient petroglyphs carved by Arawak Indians can be seen among the stalagmites and stalactites.
I spent a day with Levi John and Enoch who gladly showed around the island for a fee. It included a tour of the village, the caves, the pink sand beaches, the bird sanctuary and snorkeling on Princess Diana Beach. It also included drinks and a very tasty lunch. As a solo traveler who traveled there with two other female travelers, I enjoyed my experience and felt safe. I highly recommend to contact Levi John at + 1 268 723-5012 through WhatsApp to have the whole tour.
