We popped in on the way from Skagen to Aarhus. Wow what a spectacular landscape. And! Given the US connection to the National Park... It shines more than many others in Denmark where many such places have little to none signage and infrastructure for visitors. Caught some garbage on the ground. Wonderfull trip in the best National Park Mols bjerge One of the best places in Denmark - you could dream of Italy or France and you will get in all on the spot here in one of the most charming national park in Denmark. You will see wild horses a great nature an astonishingly view and a lot of hiking places. You will be able to hike from 2 - 63 km in this amazing park - there is a lot of shelters where you can sleep overnight and have a fireplace. Just remember to take all equipments regarding food and beverages with you - due to the fact that you are in the nature without any shopping areas. But - great nature and a lovely kind of going back to the nature. See you on a hiking spot.

Stretching south from Fano off the coast of Denmark down through Germany, the Wadden Sea is a stunning shallow coastal sea with lots of sand banks and mud flats giving breeding grounds to many bird species. Great views on the boat ride over from Esbjerg to Fano, and travelling along the Danish coastline. Great spots for picnics and watching the sunsets. Swimming is possible - though its very cold!!! Excellent place to spend a quiet few days in Denmark.

On this peninsula you will find peace. The sand dunes protect you from the stormy sea to the west. And towards the east you will see the skyline of Esbjerg. On Skallingen you will see grazing sheep, many chances for a fine hike or a picnic. A pair of Wellies will help you through the muddy passages. Have fun !

Nice for a visit, to feel the windy and wild ocean. Nice stroll. Good view of local boats. Great combination of traditional fishing- and new hipster life. Nice activities such as surf school etc.
