Here on display are the fabulous silo paintings done by Melbourne artist Cam Scale of a WWI Nurse, a modern Combat Medic and a Lighthorseman with his Steed. North Vic Trails is a Non Profit Community Group consisting of people from small towns. We are trying to help our rural regional towns suffering in the current climate especially after the drought and bushfires and now COVID 19 restrictions. Through promoting the silo art, other artworks and features for small town communities we hope to increase tourism to the northern regions of Victoria. So come visit us, stay for a bit and enjoy the many fabulous sights we have to offer.

These silos are beautifully painted a great tribute to our ladies and gents that served for Australia. Excellent attention to detail in all of the silo art.

An interesting and dynamic regional gallery where there is always lots to see. Upstairs, the gallery collection is definitely worth a visit, as the Gallery holds one of the best regional collections in the country and is always looking for interesting, thought-provoking ways of displaying it. Downstairs there are temporary exhibitions, with at least four open at any one time.

The Art Gallery of Ballarat is not impressive from the outside, but inside it is amazing. The first level is mainly visiting exhibitions and contemporary art, and the second level is a selection from the gallery's permanent collection. It has art by many prominent artists, dating from the 19th century and including Australian modernists. The Art Gallery of Ballarat has one of the best collections in Australia.

This is a very interesting and exciting exhibition. The terracotta warriors exhibition was full of history and the artwork by Cai Guo-Qiang using gunpowder was exhilarating and exciting, very different and interesting artistic expression. Highly recommended.

The Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) is Australia's largest, oldest and most popular sporting venue. If you even have a passing interest in sport and you have the chance to visit the MCG for a large AFL match or cricket encounter you should take the opportunity to tick something off the bucket list of experiences - the ground regularly has over 80,000 loud (but well-behaved) fans watching over the huge pitch (4x a normal rugby or soccer pitch) supported by two of the largest HD screens in the world. The atmosphere is incomparable - at times the noise in the stands has been measured at levels approaching a commercial airliner!!!! Visitor or Melbournian - you just have to go to believe it!!!

Took my six year old to the museum and the constant look of awe on her face made it worthwhile! Brilliant dinosaur display, very interesting bugs and creepy crawlie displays that my daughter loved and I found interesting too, plus stuffed animals, a forest enclosure and other great exhibits. If you have young kids DEFINITELY take them.

We loved this museum! Easy to get to via public transportation from Melbourne. It is in St Kilda not far from the beach and restaurant scene. Welcoming staff. Great historical exhibits. Wonderful to see how they captured stories from families and presented Jewish life!

Always a great day at this museum, the volunteers are all very friendly and knowledgeable and the shop well stocked with aviation books and plastic kits at reasonable prices, great aircraft on display and you have free access to the cockpits and interiors of a lot of the aircraft as well as many other displays, I particularly liked the WW1 items.

This was our second visit in three years, and it was great before, and even better now. There is a mind-blowing new introduction area, new audio visual features throughout this wonderful fishing village, and even a new laser show format in the evening. You'll find yourself drawn into the incredible history and personal tales of the era, and view genuine artifacts. The whole family is going to love this attraction - and you can make a whole day of it, with a delicious dinner and show package. We learned and enjoyed everything so much - Flagstaff Hill Maritime Village is a definite highlight of the Great Ocean Road - don't miss this!
