This is the place where you can have the best fun and you can leave with a lot of information. The staff is very attentive, willing to explain certain things to you and take good pictures of you. It is probably the funniest place in Veliko Tirnovo.

It is a hard climb to reach the church particularly in the hot summer months but I would have been disappointed not to have visited. What a surprise awaits you inside the paintings and frescoes are so different to the typical Orthodox style it really is stunning. The views from the citadel are spectacular.

The art gallery has a wonderful collection of paintings and sculptures which me an my friends enjoyed tremendously. The art gallery, the museum and the whole place carry the spirit of fine architecture, history, preserves heritage and culture.
