August 30, 2021 Leonardo Torrence

The beaches of Santa Monica attract all sorts of visitors-- don't be surprised to see families playing on the sand next to a boot-camp fitness class with a barking instructor. Visit the Santa Monica Pier, a haven of shops, restaurants, and carnival attractions (including a Ferris wheel) atop a wooden wharf. By night, the Third Street Promenade is the place to be, bustling with activity from moviegoers, party animals, and talented street performers.

Annenberg Community Beach House

We miss our Beach House community and hope you and your loved ones are well. In light of the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic and the resulting budget crisis, the Beach House summer will be different than in years past. A notable change at the Beach House includes the pool closure through June 2021, and the Splash Pad and Playground closures until further notice. We are as heartbroken as you may be about these extended closures, and are re-imagining the Beach House as a restorative public space with recreational and cultural programming. For more information on what’s open at the Beach House and to sign up for our newsletter, visit annenbergbeachhouse.com. Please stay tuned!

This is an absolute joy. There was a need for a place with ample parking, a cafe, pool, clean bathrooms and showers for the kids, a play area and the location couldn’t be better. A wonderful addition to the Santa Monica beach
