Cyprus Historic & Classic Motor Museum

Located in Limassol in a spacious 3000 square meters, you will admire Classic, Historic and Collectible Cars. The "Cyprus Historic and Classic Motor Museum" is a remarkable home for classic cars with highlights of their historical and emotional value. Visitors can admire the museum's eclectic collection of cars covering the period of the last century. The museum highlights the cultural importance of the development and growth of the automobile industry. The oldest car in the collection at the moment is a Ford "T" roadster from 1912, which currently has 102 years of life on the road. The newest vehicle is a collectible piece from 2004. Each visitor can enjoy a different yet memorable experience learning the progress of the vehicles through the passage of time. The founding of the museum is due to the vision of veteran Rally Racing champion of International and Cypriot rally competitions, Mr. Dimi Mavropoulos. He gave his personal collection of historic, classic and collectable cars and launched this museum especially for their display. The Museum features a classic car rental service with a driver. You can enjoy special moments of your life whilst tootling along in an historic and unique classic car. This is an ideal choice for weddings, tours of the city of Limassol or even for those times when you feel like doing something different! In awareness of social responsibility, part of the proceeds from the entrance tickets of the museum will be given to charitable and philanthropic institutions.

Wonderful selection of classic cars. Very interesting museum, very welcoming, beautifully laid out, all cars beautifully restored with full information of the history of all the vehicles. Spotless inside plus interesting small items from years gone buy. Anyone interested in cars should visit.

Peter's Gallery

Fourty two years ago we decided to share our love for art with the wider audience, and provide the satisfying experience of creation, as well as the aesthetic pleasure fine art has to offer. We founded Peter's Gallery in Limassol in 1973. A very important art space for Cyprus due to its the geographic location of Limassol, which is the crossroad of Nicosia, Larnaca and Paphos. Most importantly, the existence of this exceptional art space has allowed us to best serve the needs of the art loving audience for decades. Peter’s Gallery is unlike any other art space in the entire Middle East and was built with the love and knowledge of the exhibiting needs of artistic creations. For over 40 years this art space has been honoured primarily by artists, admirers of art, as well as political figures and distinguished individuals of the public life of Cyprus. There are large spacious areas divided into four levels covering an area of 600m² and are fully equipped with the modern facilities necessary to fulfil the needs for the implementation of any type of art event. Peter’s Gallery has had the privilege to represent and exhibit works by a large number of important artists from around the world, from countries like Cyprus, Greece, Bulgaria, Poland, Russia, United Kingdom, Canada, Africa, Israel, Turkey, Norther Cyprus, Syria and many other. This large number of diversity in culture and creative people have put together a face for global art that our visitors have been experiencing and learning from for years. People warmly embraced our efforts; they motivated and inspired us to take bigger steps forward. So we expanded our galleries to Nicosia in 2000 and to Larnaca in 2003. We actively support art and are always moving towards positive changes that make a difference. So in 1992 we founded the first silkscreen workshop in Cyprus. We created handmade copies of original artwork of notable artists and while each silkscreen print reserved its handmade uniqueness, it also offered collectors and art lovers the opportunity of owning beautiful and otherwise high prised imagery in much lower prices than their originals. Throughout its creative years, Peter's Gallery has played an important role in the Cypriot art scene by creating a relationship of trust with its clients and in turn, that has provided us with the necessary experience and support to seek out for more ways to creatively express and collaborate within the art world and consequently enriching the Cypriot culture. In 2010 we took our biggest step yet. Hoping to offer art to every home in Cyprus, and providing art lovers and collectors unique and excellent art that is approachable by everyone, we established “Peter’s Auctions”. Our need for perfection and professionalism have always guaranteed the success of our endeavours. Our clients have responded positively to our call and we are committed to the trust and love they’ve invested in us throughout the years.
