We had a fantastic time with Bright as our guide to visit Cape Coast Castle, Elmina Castle, and Kakum Forest. Bright made our trip seamless: pick-up right at our hotel in Accra, and helped us plan our day to go at our own pace and see all the sights to the fullest. A visit to Cape Coast, the capital city of the central region of Ghana and the former government center of the Gold Coast which was the seat of the British Colonial Administration up until 1877. Visit Kakum National Park, one of the foremost nature reserve in the Southern part of Ghana, almost untouched virgin rainforest preserved as a habitata for birds, butterflies and some local animals. Enroute to Elmina Castle which has been identified as a World Heritage Monument. The Slave Dungeon was built in 1427 as the early settlement and trade post by the Portuguese. Drive along the beach front for the famous palm-fringed fascinating dishing villages and Historic towns. The Tour Ends with a taste of a local food and refreshment. Depart for Accra.

Olives Travel Customized a 13 day trip for me alone and then a 2nd trip with my husband. We traveled from Accra to Jamestown by foot (my preference) I like to see and experience everything. Prince Adams was very informative and personable and a energetic young man. He got me into see a museum that was even closed. We went to Cape Coast, Kumasi, Lake Bosomtwe, The Green Ranch, horseback riding, The zoo. Then to Teme, Shai Hills Preservation and so much more. I had a totally amazing time and experience that I will continue going year after year.
