Reviewed By pjbuddyIf you are skiing in Saalbach, this is the place to stay. I've lost count. I think we've stayed here about 12 times, we did try a different hotel one year just to mix it up but that was a bad move. We've also skied in other resorts but it's just not the same level of quality as The Alpinresort at Saalbach. Impeccable service from all staff. Excellent rooms, food and facilities. Thanks to Alan and Michael for looking after us again this year. Glad to see the new furry friendly face Lucy as we have missed Chico these past few years. Boss says the boot room is being moved to the ground floor as part of some renovations, hopefully for next season. To Alpinresort, it is very warm, save some money and turn the heating down! We'll be back this summer for our first mountain biking holiday. The Wright family.

Great value for money!
Reviewed By stormy000Stayed here yesterday for a bargain price! The two members of staff behind the bar were really lovely and friendly! And made fantastic drinks. Rooms were immaculate! Shower is powerful. Would definitely stay again! Only thing I didn’t like - was the toilet was on the bottom floor, meaning you would have a drink and then have to take a lift downstairs to go toilet. Other than that, I think it was fantastic.

The rooms are really confortable, not huge, but nothing to complain for a few nights stay - awesome digital fireplace is waiting for you :) . The location is quite good, few steps from the prater and good restaurants. The city center is within a few minutes drive too. Less positive: breakfast offer is a bit weak, small meat offer and designed rather for young, open minded people with its strange seating positions. The parking entrance and exit requires a bit higher driving skills, as the width of the gates are approx 10-10cm wider than a standard car. With a bigger SUV you may need to consider to park outside.

Reviewed By taalfdaSimple and efficient hotel, perfect to make a stage on the road. My wife said: the best hotel we found. Rooms and building are not especially... beautiful :) BUT everything else is more than OK. Room are very spacious, toilets and bathroom are separated (!). The mattress is a bit too soft but nothing serious. Everything clean and in good condition. The silent is total. The best was the spacious refectory with numerous tables and self-service microwave ovens. We usually buy some food in nearby supermarkets and eat it in our room, on some tiny table pushed up against some wall. But there, we could comfortably sit and eat like at home. The only "minus" is the total absence of personnel: there is only some machine giving you the key (card). While traveling all the day long, it's a bit sad to talk to a machine when you can see a human figure. No-one to tell you where is the closest gas station... Else everything just perfect.

No staff just a machine to check in.
Reviewed By terrygparrottNever saw any staff the whole stay. No breakfast room that I could see. Some parking but not a lot. Wi-Fi was free but kept disconnecting. Good clean hotel outside Vienna. Really odd system to check in - no staff but a machine. In the end I got it working and it issues your room key, really odd.

Reviewed By Günter Zcheck in at the petrol station desk. Altough it´s a container-motel inside it´s clean and livable. mattress and pillow very cosy. we enjoyed it. the nearby restaurant has an amarican style and offers you good meal and waldviertler beer. Sole-Felsen-Bad is about 1 km away.

Reviewed By marciwalSehr freundliche Chefin, moderne Zimmer, auffallend sauber. Im Cafe Bernstein gegenüber kann man ein ausgezeichnetes und preisgünstiges Frühstück genießen. Das einzige Manko ist der Verkehrslärm der Durchzugsstraße aber das ist Jammern auf hohem Niveau. Die Lage des Hotels ist ja schon vorher bekannt. 100 % Weiterempfehlung
