Shame we are paying 130€ for a night in a room where we cannot open the window because everyone is smoking downstairs. The first thing one does when they arrive at a hotel is get showered and you want to at least have towels as good as the ones you have at home. For 130€ they could buy better towels.

Reviewed By Cecilia SWe stayed her for one night while visiting Romme Alpin (also a great place;-)) It was our first stay, previously we have stayed at Scandic. The prices of Gylle hotel were very competitive and we will stay here next time. Rooms are like typical scandic rooms. The lobby restaurant is very cozy and the breakfast was great. Also appreciated the personal touches, like having headache pills at the breakfast buffe. Caring. Very nice staff. We will stay here again next time we go to Romme Alpin. Not only for the price, but for the overall experience. If you want to go out in Borlänge in the evening, you will however need to take a car. A bit of walking distance

Very nice motel near Ullared
Reviewed By oldaircraftWe spent a couple of nights at this motel. The place really surpassed our expectations. Well kept large hotel rooms with big flat screen TV and comfortable beds. The restaurant is well worth a visit. Really good food to decent prices. Do not miss their schnitzel - it's really delicious. The restaurant is also a kind of museum with a lot of stuff from the 50's, mostly American cars. The staff at the motel is providing personal service and makes you feel welcome in all ways. We can really recommend Route 154 motel.

What a great team of enthusiastic, passionate and lovely people work there, and what a beautiful location the lodge is. So you don't have to ask yourself if you are going there, but especially when! Reviewed By KimVM2Although we overall had a great stay in the hotel, we experienced one serieus problem, We had the family deluxe room for 4 nights and during our stay I found a fanta bottle under the bed, chips under the sofa and sticky candy in the blanket. Because of this, we knew that the room was definitely not cleaned upon "corona"-standards. What was more annoying is that when we went up the the reception to let them know, they gave us the feeling that we were making "a fuss" about nothing. "we never had this complaint before" we were told, Also the restaurant lacks profound cleaning. A lot of food on the floor. When you get your table, it is just the surface that gets wiped quickly before you re seated.. Of course, there is a lot of positive things to say about the hotel; great location, very friendly and helpful staff at the restaurant, good food made in an open kitchen,... A pity they didn´t match up with appropriate cleaning, especially at these times.

Reviewed By inmyendsinnitI visited and stayed at this hotel 1 week ago. First impression, they took money out of my account without having checked in first, didn’t ask me nothing. 2. The cleanliness of rooms was awful, hair and dust in corners of the room. 3. The shared bathrooms were treated appallingly. One person hung their boxers on the handle of the bathroom and the floors were constantly wet and damp with tissues everywhere. One shower for 12 rooms absolutely dreadful. Avoid this place like the plague

På gården kan barn och vuxna umgås med kattungar, kaniner, kycklingar, ponnyer, grisar, getter, ankor och njuta av att vara nära naturen . And based on the rating on booking of a 9.7 we thought this would be an amazing place to stay with our son. But the number given is far to high in our opinion. We would rate it as a 6,5 or 7 tops. The people are not that friendly, not helpful and walking around like they are iritated all day. The son of them was managing the b&b but he was quit rude. The father was a nice man to be honest but he was working on property. The rooms are really warm/hot in the beginning of july and the window doesn’t open properly. Also the location was under construction. And there was a general shower with no lights. Also there was one toilet that was shared by 5 rooms/couples upstairs. The conditions where so bad that we needed to leave after one night. The animals are nice but not worth paying 200 euro a night. I would think twice about booking this location. And definitely not belief the rating of 9 or higher! All the best. Regards Max & Leoni

Not a "hotel" per se, but pretty good anyway
Reviewed By 618bretdI do agree with one of the previous posters, when I booked on booking.com I thought this was a hotel....like all other hotels I've ever been at but it's not. This is a 'self-service' "hotel"....almost like an AirBnB I guess. You check yourself in with a door code, and a code for the lock box - there is no front desk, just a cleaning person making up the rooms...but you could use a special code for the luggage storage room if you arrived early and store your luggage. That was great for us as we arrived at 11:30am. When we returned at later that afternoon, We were fortunate the cleaner happened to be still there making up rooms because our code didn't open our rooms key box. She was able to access for us which saved us having to e-mail/ call the hotel line....which would have been a pain since in Sweden we did not have a phone data plan. But on the upside the room was very comfortable and pretty well kept, I loved the air conditioning and the full kitchen - great for making a quick bite. The location is in the old town of Visby - very close to the gate leading to a few shops, I didn't find any street noise whatsoever but some rooms I suppose may. It was a bit odd too having to take out the garbage and wash up and put away your dishes...but I understand it keeps the costs down. It's worth staying here if you'd like to prepare a few of your own meals as the kitchenette is well stocked, but if you're used to asking the front desk for restaurant recommendations, directions or anything at all for that matter....well you may want to go elsewhere.

Reviewed By eva_roman22I spent 4 nights in the LandvetterBnb, if I could give it unlimited starts, I would! Thina has gone beyond and above in everything to make my stay pleasant. She has been absolute fantastic and turned around a trip which started badly from weather issues, to a fantastic and pleasant time! The Bnb itself is amazing, very very cozy with absolutely everything you need. Thina works very hard to keep the house clean and it reflects totally! The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. It has a very comfortable living room with a huge tv so you can enjoy watching a movie and the kitchen supplies everything you need to cook. I could not recommend this place more, it was an absolute pleasure to stay there!

Nice cozy rooms, a relaxed lounge with fireplace, sauna and relax area inside the building. The restaurant serves top quality food and wine. Our two chefs Audrey and Lowie welcome you to the table and present local ingredients from the village and wine from our own wine cellar. Our team will give you a lifelong memory by welcoming you on all kinds of activities. Next to the hotel we have a newly built husky kennel with 80 dogs.
Wonderful stay
Reviewed By Enrico SDue to the Covid-19, the lodge was completely empty: we were the only guests in. However the staff was really professional and hospitable, giving it all to make us feel at home. And they really did! We enjoyed all the activities, and decided to join also some opcional one: we really reccommend the husky sled, the visit to the reindeer corral and the snowshoeing looking for northern lights! The place is lovely, with fireplace in living room and in the dining-room always on. Rooms are warm, wide and clean. Sauna is free and wide. Last but not least, the kitchen! The chef is really a master! Every day he proposed different menus with special dishes, combining local food and european products. Each dinner was like a culinary trip! Great experience! Thanks to all the guys that made these four days so relaxing and exciting! We will miss Arctic River Lodge!!!
