Could Do Better
Reviewed By PWBROverall a good hotel but with issues. It’s a 15 minute walk from the centre but that’s ok. Bigger items …pool was dirty (no chlorine) , room was dirty and the lifts are needing replacement. On the plus side the staff were friendly and the location was good for the beach.

Reviewed By Cande ANo tenemos palabras de agradecimiento con Daniel y Candela, dos genios, que supieron aconsejarnos al momento de hacer la reserva y mientras estuvimos alojados. Esta ubicada en un punto estrategico de Punta del Indio, a la vuelta hay un almacen muy completo, una verduleria, a unas cuadras una sra que hace comida casera, super recomendable.. Esta a 6/7 cuadras de la playa El Pericon, que tambien esta muy linda y da gusto ir. La cabaña era muy acogedora, lo pasamos demasiado bien, tanto que estamos organizando para volver en este verano.

Reviewed By Daniel BBuscábamos una cabaña que aceptara mascotas y nos decidimos por Cabañas Gesell. Son cabañas que están al costado de lo que es la casa de los propietarios así que no está tan alejadas. Así y todo nos pareció que estaba bien la que nos tocó, para dos personas y una mascota más que suficiente. Estaba bien equipada y tenía todo lo necesario. Es conveniente ir con auto ya que está algo alejada de la playa, unas 15 cuadras aprox. Relación precio/calidad nos pareció bien. La atención del propietario Germán muy buena, amable y atento a nuestras necesidades. A la noche de repente se escuchaban algunos aullidos de perros y música a lo lejos los sábados (hay un boliche a unas cuadras) pero no lo consideramos grave. Creo que para escapadas es ideal. La pasamos muy bien. Volveremos.

Needed more time here
Reviewed By jandkNgateaWE only had 1 night here due to a muck up with our other bookings but it was memorable for all the right reasons. The getting there was an adventure as all instructions came in Spanish but our previous host translated the important bits like where and when the ferries left from. Peter was a very helpful host and when I bulked at the spiral staircase to our shared room he quickly gave me a room of my own on the ground floor. Perfect!! We were unsure just what food supplies we needed to take but found that Peter has a few extras for those who don't bring everything. Do remember your insect repellant! The mosquitos are hungry and clever!

Reviewed By 99MD2015Needs updating but conveniently located to great shopping, gourmet restaurants, the beach and of course the historical Casino. Great breakfast. During the season, breakfast includes scrambled eggs and steamed sausages.
