Beyond expectations!
Reviewed By AlexandraSantsWe only spent two nights at this hotel but wished we could have stayed much longer! Spotless place, sparkling clean, quiet and airy. The whole place has a nice interior design, elegant yet simple. The room was nice and cosy, with a fantastic balcony facing south. We also enjoyed the lounge area and its lovely terrace. Excellent location too, half-way between the Castle and the centre. Easy access, both by car and on foot. We felt that the staff was genuinely friendly, never intrusive but always helpful. Many thanks again, La Monitori, keep up the good work!

Under the surface it is not working
Reviewed By Asser MAt the first sigth the hotel looks good but it is renovated with cheap materials that makes it look very used. The hotel does not provide the basics like shampoo or soap. Breakfast is poor and the rooms are nothing like the pictures. The owner will try to get every penny out of you.

Good value, friendly staff
Reviewed By K0lyaI stayed in this hotel for 6 nights and was entirely happy with it, especially with the value for money and the warmth of the welcome. My room was big and clean, and the bed very large. It had a good flat screen TV with about 60 channels - including several in English (with Romanian subtitles). The shower was powerful and hot each morning, although the fitting was broken, requiring a little ingenuity. They cooked me a couple of eggs to order each morning, served with coffee, cold cuts, bread and cheese, which set me up well for the day. There's no restaurant - there's one being built in the hotel, but it looks some while from completion. The hotel's location is a quiet street opposite a cemetery. It's about 10 minutes walk to shops, including several supermarkets of various sizes. The centre of the town is quite a lot further, but taxis are cheap. The hotel owner picked me up from Bucharest airport and took me back at the end of the stay, for what I thought was a very reasonable fee. His English is very limited, but that wasn't an issue for me. This is a very good quiet, modest hotel.

Reviewed By Andreea OI've been there 2 times until now, a very clean vila, with big rooms, and nice people. You have BBQ outside, the cabin is around 2 minutes from there, shops are around 5 minutes (walking), and for the price, is very good.

Reviewed By Cristina MWe had a great time here, with my husband and close friends. The rooms are modern, with balcony, they have a great view of the mountains and the house is very clean(you can`t enter wearing you street shoes). Quiet neighbourhood, we had a lovely time

Nice vacation
Reviewed By 495loredanacThe room was nice and cozy. Even though we went there in August, it was cold due to the raining, but the heat was on during the night. The food was good, the personel was polite, we were surrounded by nature, it was very relaxing. They also have a playground for kids, with a trampoline. The last 3 km are not paved, it's a forrest road, but you can drive it easily and the view is quite nice. Pros: the view, the quiet, the amenities, the hospitaliy, the athmosphere. Cons: the exagerate prices of food. The food was basic, no specialities. For the same dish we spent 1/2 the price in another restaurant. The room was clean, except for the bathroom. The shower bar and the sink tap looked as if they haven't been cleaned în over a month.
