I was very pleasantly surprised to find this amazing property. Beautifully located and managed, warm hospitality and fabulous facilities. Rooms hold their own when I compare to other five star resorts I have been at. Food was delicious, cooked on site with a extremely impressive range to choose from. I plan to return with my family to enjoy the island as well as the comforts of ViluVeli Holiday Retreat. Special shout out to Weedath for her Hospitality and we hope to see you soon. The other advantage is that the property is located on a Airport Island and that means getting from Male to the Property is very easy and quick.

Reviewed By Ann GWe loved staying here. Right next to the beach with excellent snorkelling on your doorstep. Friendly and helpful staff. A special mention to Ahmed, Sam, Arusadh and the boat driver for taking us on some truly memorable snorkelling excursions. We saw a whale shark, mantas, turtles, sharks and huge numbers of the most wonderful fish. We would definitely recommend Athiri Beach and hope to return.

The Sunrise Huraa is small inn located within 15 sec walking distance to the nearest beach and 5 min walk from the guest beach. Located away from the middle of the island where one can clearly see the sunrise above the ocean early in the morning. Containing an outdoor private area, outdoor dining, a flourishing garden, completely AC rooms and the warm feeling of being home. Located 25 min speed boat or 1 hr ferry ride from the island of Male'
Decent guesthouse, wrong island
Reviewed By Invisible_YoginProperty itself is very good – with great and helpful owner Shameer and all the staff. Rooms are clean, beach towels and water always available, they serve good breakfast and can cook a good lunch. Once Shameer went snorkeling with me to show a non-obvious snorkeling place near the island. He was kind to help me printing and scanning the papers I needed to send home. On the downside - window was facing the wall in a meter distance (unfortunately not uncommon problem of Maldivian guesthouses and hotels), there were. no soundproofing with the adjoining room - sounds like the neighbors are in your room. Location-wise - hostel used to be on the beach, but now - after the extension of the island - near the huge wasteland that used to be the ocean. The worst thing about our stay was the island. It is by far the least interesting of 11 Maldivian local island we have visited: nothing to see, nothing to do, unless going somewhere by the boat, small bikini beach with a very shallow water, no house reef except for some 0,5 meter deep little coral field where you can snorkel during the high tide without getting coral cuts, only one ok restaurant - in a word, no vibe, no attractions. If I’d visit only this island I would have terribly wrong impression from Maldives.

Great family holiday

I booked 3 Rooms in Ithaa Beach, however when we arrived the host offered to chose between Ithaa and another his hotel Sigeny View. The second one was located at bikiny beach, we chose this one. So the review is not about a hotel but the service, which I beleive is the same in both hotels. We took full board: it was not big choice of dishes, but very fresh and tasty. The portions are big. My favorites: penne with reef fish, tuna fried rice and chicken curry. Amazing seafood bbq: fish, octopus, lobsters. Guys can arrange romantic dinner at the beach or bbq party. Fruits, fresh juses and icecream are available as well. They adore kids. And even played with my restless toddler so I could have my dinner in peace:) My son became best friends with our waiter mister Kalam. Guys made their best to make us happy. And they really did. Hamdhaan organised snorckling excursions for us with dolphins, sharks and reef fishes. Great experience. Two hours ride with dolphins is 20$ per adult and 15$ per child. 4 hours ride with sharks and dolphins is 40$/20$. 2 kayaks, snorkling masks and fins are available in the hotel for free The island itself is very good for family holidays. 40min ride from Male (speed board is 25$ per person one way). There is a nice beaches where you can find shallow water for kids and dip water to sweem and free dive. There is an instagramy sand bank and reach home reef for snorkling. We saw muray, baby sharks, stingrays, lobsters there. Big sharks and sting rays come to marina every evening to feed. Once we saw dophins and a tutrtle near the shore. Even if you don't go for excursions you'll see a lot of animals at the island. There is a manta cleaning spot near the iseland, but manta season is from Jun to Sep. We found a badminton playground and played with locals (they have a net, otherwise take your own net with you). And there is a good kids playground. Both located near the pupblic beach. There are two dive centers. We went to Manta divers: 80$ for intro dive and 55$ for those who have PADI license. Good service, we recommend them. SUP serf - 20$ per hour. The owner, whose name is Chai, gave my 5 years old son a free lesson on SUP, while I was riding mine. Not for tips or make me come again it was a sincere expression of love to kids. Locals are very friendly and always try to help. The hospitality ob the island is one of my biggest impressions of the holiday. If you want to feel the vibes of Maldives then defenetly come to this place and pass a warm hello from me to mister Hamdhaan!

The rooms are comfortable (AC, hot water, clean, etc.), breakfasts (provided) are great (especially if you enjoy local food), and the staff is friendly and eager to help facilitate your holiday (fishing, diving, etc.). Recommended.

Reviewed By LaMissingNew breeze thoddhoo inn welcomed our big family. We spent in thoddhoo wonderful days. Raushan and his staff took care of us for all request. Rooms are very very clean and confortable near the beach ( only 10 minutes by walking) but very often he pickuped us .They were so lovely and frendly with my children. Food in the Mint Restaurant near the house is very good, ( enjoy fresh fruits and mango juice!) staff was attentive to our requests. Many thanks to our waiter and rooms attendent Bdulal. We miss you! thoddoo Is fantastic..no word can explain beautiful beach, wonderful snorkeling. But people on the Island made us fall in love! Thoddoo Will be in our Heart forever also for all the people . When we left we cried.. We will be going back very soon ! We miss you guys!

Reviewed By 199sannecWe had the most amazing 6 days at Vaali Beach lodge. There is a nice atmosphere, and the staff is doing everything to make you comfortable. The guesthouse is right in front of the bikini beach, with is the most amazing little beautiful beach, very kids friendly. The house reefs is also amazing and you can go directly from the beach. Both nurse sharks, turtles and mantras were spotted at the house reef. The locals are feeding sharks and mantras in the evening at the harbour.

Reviewed By 217liseeThe rooms were big and there was a nice garden you could relax in. But the best part was the staff. They were so friendly and helpfull, and they made our stay fantastic. So I can definitely recommend Rasdhoo dive lodge.
