Reviewed By 591conkVery much feels like a hotel that would have one star if not close to the airport - feels completely like a dodgy airport hotel, only positive being close to the airport and black out shutters. Room smelt like cigarettes and paper thin walls, run down and tired.

Reviewed By Adventurer310309My family of 5 stayed at B&B Plitvica Lodge (3 rooms) for two nights this week, and so far it has been the highlight of our 2 week tour of Croatia, exceeding my expectations in every way. The Lodge is perfectly situated a short walk from the least crowded entrance to the park, is beautifully appointed throughout with surprisingly lovely details, and still feels like an old-time, cozy, rustic mountain lodge. Complete, comfortable relaxation after a big day of hiking the park. Best of all was our host, Karlo, who along with his family were extremely attentive to every need, the picture of true hospitality. We also enjoyed fabulous, traditional Croatian home cooking, very nice wines, and oh the Rakija! Highly recommended, I would not hesitate to return. Hvala, Karlo and Martina!

Reviewed By AmericanInParis2Guesthouse Bor is very conveniently located in Mukinje, a 3 min walk from the bus stop and about a 10-15 min walk from Entrance 2 to Plitvice National Park. Super helpful and friendly owner, who gave us a detailed explanation of how to visit the park and kindly offered us a ride to the park entrance. The room was comfortable, modern, and clean and had a beautiful view. There's a restaurant just a few steps away and a supermarket on the path to the park entrance. Thank you for an fantastic stay.

Reviewed By Judy15066We had reservations for three rooms at the House by the River. Unexpectedly, the bridge accessing the hotel was under closed and under construction. Ducan and his brother did everything they could to help us arrive at our destination and then made our stay perfect. Although the exterior of the house is unassuming, the rooms within have been renovated and were lovely. Ducan and his brother prepared an excellent breakfast for us and did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable. We had a wonderful stay at the House by the River and highly recommend it.

An ideal base for exploring Plitvice Lakes
Reviewed By christinajane2015We spent two nights at Villa Nena and would highly recommend it. Nena is a wonderful host and it's good value for money. She cooked us delicious meals both nights and breakfasts were very good. A short walk leads to glorious viewing platforms over the park and steps down to the lakes - a bit arduous coming back up but easily managed. There are also walks up through forests and high meadows so it's a good base for walking.

Reviewed By markusstuebingWe spontaneously booked a 2hrs trip and enjoyed it very much. My wife and me went out for horse riding with two girls. We climbed up and down the hills through forests and fields. The horses look good and were in good shapes. We are experienced riders which the girls checked at the beginning on short galloping periods.

Sehr schönes Zimmer in ruhiger Lage
Reviewed By 314marcelsDie Unterkunft liegt ruhig gelegen in den Bergen. Ein kleiner Supermarkt und ein schönes Restaurant sind vier Kilometer entfernt. Diesen Tipp haben wir von den sehr netten und höflichen Gastgebern bekommen. Die Aussicht von unserem kleinen Balkon war sehr schön und in der Gemeinschaftsküche gab es alles was man zum kochen brauchte. Das Zimmer und das Bad waren sehr sauber und die Bettwäsche hatte einen schönen frischen Geruch. Wer Lust auf erholung in den Bergen hat sollte auf jeden Fall hier her kommen.

The food was delicious, the authenticity and craftsmanship of the restored village was amazing, the accommodations were very comfortable, and their stories over dinner and breakfast were engaging and humorous. Wonderful people, very welcoming, knowledgeable of the area and the river, and charming to be around. Must visit this off the beaten path location for an authentic taste of rural life around inland northern Croatia.

Reviewed By bozi226Our 1-night stay was very pleasant. The house is very near to the entrance 2 - Plitvicka Jezera and you can just walk from the house to the entrance to visit the lakes. We had a private parking in front of the house and our room on the first floor was very comfortable, spacious, calm and very clean. Mr Milos is extremely polite, he gave us very useful and important information about the lakes and helped us in everything. We were very happy and safe. VERY GOOD WIFI, so if you have to use the Internet, as we had, the Guesthouse Nenad is good solution for stay.

Godd accomodation, not so great service
Reviewed By Raczej TThe accomodation was very good hotel is nice and clean, well equipped 25 minutes by walk in to the old town. to bad they have poor service. we came at middle of the night and we send an infirmation about it when we booked. when we came we tried to call about 20 minutes finally someone answered and wasn' nice to us, we came at 4 a.m. and i understand that not comfortable time to woke up someone, but all they do was giving us instruction how to get to our room. they could send us it by mail and everything would be great.
