Had a lovely day in Foz and arrived by the tram and then a short walk along the coast line to the lighthouse, the swell from the ocean was large today and made for some amazing waves and Huge splashed into the walls and over the lighthouse. Great way to relax away from all the hustle and bustle of the city, top views, lovely area.

Pleasant drive along the Algsrve coastline to the most south Western point of mainland Europe. Views outstanding and FREE parking. Cafe and shops at lighthouse, however unable to have access to lighthouse.

Arrived raining & returned another day to see beautiful corner of Ponta do pargo. Lighthouse as you expect is nearly at edge of Cliff. Message reads Danger, so pay attention. Views across from Lighthouse absolute breathtaking. Visit Museum inside enter through courtyard to witness the history. Some interesting pictures too. Enjoy.

Stunning views most beautiful during sunrise. It is a very steep walk I recommend wearing sneakers and bring water.
