The 10 Best Islands in El Nido, Mimaropa

November 30, 2021 Vergie Nakamoto

Why settle for a beachfront hotel when you can stay right over the ocean in a cottage on stilts? And why settle for any old dive site when you can snorkel in an orchid-walled lagoon? El Nido is known as the Philippines' last frontier, and if you're looking for magnificent beaches in an unspoiled setting, it's a perfect place for you to vacation.

Entalula Island

It's a pretty big island so I guess this depends on which part of the island your boatman takes you. We enjoyed the view and having a part of the island all to ourselves. It's a great place to snorkel as well. There were lots of corals and it was beaming with marine life…

Simizu Island is located right between Miniloc Island on the north and Inatula Island on the south, and is part of the El Nido Tour A. Tourists taking Tour A will have their lunch here on the beach. The lunch consists of rice, seafood, watermelon, bananas, and vegetables, perfect to regain your strength and relax from the voyage. We really had a great time there. For sure, I wanna to visit again.

Matinloc Island is part of Tour C – The trip started with a 45mins boat ride from Corong – Corong. We are a group 5 and were accompanied by 2 staff & a tour guide which also a free diver. The Island itself is stunning and natural beauty at its best. The island is very rich in marine animals and the water is very clean. The trip all the way to the island was truly worth it. Bear in mind, to reach the island you will be sailing to the open sea so be ready with the big waves.
