Just right!

This is one of the best B&Bs I've stayed at. The room was quiet, clean, and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful with suggesting places to visit. Breakfast was generous and tasty. And the location was perfect for walking to dinner, picking up a few souvenirs, and exploring the shore. Highly recommend!

25th wedding anniversary - Digby NS

Reviewed By JandS78TO

The second leg of our 25th wedding anniversary was in Digby NS and we chose to stay at the Dockside Complex and it was Amazing. As we arrived very early, the staff allowed us to leave our luggage at the front desk while we had a bite to eat at their restaurant, Fundy Restaurant as they finished setting up our room. The meal was delish, Lobster and Scallops, sooo fresh right from the ocean outside their door. The wait staff was friendly, shout out to Monica who took care of us. We sat on the patio, overlooking the bay. What an amazing first meal. Once we were done and full our room was ready and what a surprise was in store. Dean the owner had also upgraded our room for.our anniversary to their newest suite, a gem of a suite! As we walked up to that black door with 38A on the door our jaws dropped. The room was luxurious... Open concept.. brand new.. and the bathroom was big with a TV and fireplace, a huge wall to wall shower. The main room had a full kitchen a beautiful marble counter and leather stools. The King size bed facing a huge LED TV and equally stunning fireplace. Finally a full size couch and leather chair leading you the balcony, with that amazing view of the Bay. It felt like a high rollers suite In Vegas, not a coastal town in the East Coast of Canada. We've never stayed in anything so affordable yet luxurious. We absolutely loved it at the Dockside Complex, the Fundy Restaurant and even got to let loose at Club 98 ( also owned by them) with some video slots. Drink and music. Club 98 is one of the very few things open in Digby late so it was a relief coming from the night life of Toronto. We can not say enough about Dean and his team at the Dockside complex/Fundy Restaurant/ Club 98 ..Great Food, Beautiful views and Amazing staff. Thank you and we looking forward to staying at the Dockside Complex in Digby NS again. Happy Travels!

Okay, but not great

Reviewed By Nhiker

The motel is not exactly facing the lake, but it is near enough. The rooms were okay, though ours was a bit stuffy and the windows were low and faced the front, so we did not feel we could leave them open A minimum breakfast is brought to the room in the morning.

Very Comfortable Stay

Reviewed By NSTraveller493

This is an older hotel that has been completely refurbished. It is easy to tell the owners care. It was spotless spacious and very comfortable. I really like how they have remodelled the bathroom and shower. There was a fridge in the room and they offered to bring a microwave. The view of the basin from this hilltop motel is very beautiful and tranquil. There are no newer motels in Digby but this is an older one you wont be disappointed with. There is an on site restaurant, but was not open the day we were there. We ate there about six years ago and it was very good. I would highly recommend this property.
