Great hotel at a great location.
Reviewed By damjanglI’ve been to this hotel at the end of July 2021 after a friend of mine had been there before as well. It’s very well located with the monastery being very close, nature is very close to the hotel as well, the people there are very friendly and even if you don’t know Mandarin, people at that hotel can communicate with you in English. One small thing I would mention is that shampoo and toothpaste are not provided, I had assumed they do just like other hotels I’ve been to in China, however they don’t, so that was my bad. However that’s the only small thing, it doesn’t spoil the whole experience, though. I recommend this hotel!

Nirvana Hotel has 15 cozy guest rooms with private bathroom. We have rooms with a double bed and rooms with twin beds. Room facilities: very clean bed with soft mattress (rare in China!) 2 showers in each bathroom, including a rain shower water cooker complimentary coffee and tea complimentary mineral water complimentary toiletries hair dryer clean towels daily We also have dorm rooms. Each dorm room has 6 beds. Bathroom is shared, 2 showers and 2 toilets.

Reviewed By JulieIdenPrior to arriving at the hotel, we contacted the owner, Clary, for recommendations for drivers and also switching our reservation nights. She was super helpful and responsive -- even calling several times to confirm and make sure the information was correct. The hotel is well located within short walking distance of Labrang. The rooms are nicely decorated with local touches and the lobby has a small gift shop with local items. We enjoyed our stay and will stay here again if we return.

Absolutely gorgeous place - highly recommended!
Reviewed By WanliWe’ve visited this incredible place twice - October 2020 and July 2021. Both times were unforgettable. The natural scenery is just amazing. So beautiful and peaceful. Lovely birdsong and marmots. The staff are all super helpful and friendly. Highly recommended! One improvement would be to provide more water dispensers and get rid of all the small plastic water bottles and disposable chopsticks.

Reviewed By BobbyGentryLUNGTA (2 people) The Lungta Cooperative cabin is situated on top of rolling hills with a view of the Sangke Grassland. Lungta Cooperative are partnered with Norden. I highly recommend Lungta Cooperative. We paid for an additional fold-out bed and extra meal for a third person so the price averaged out at 2200 RMB per night. This includes 3 meals a day. The views are spectacular! I cannot pass comment on Norden as I have had no experience with them except for the brilliant café & WeChat support. All I know is that Norden don’t like the rain even when it’s not raining; as they canceled the 2600 RMB grassland picnic, 12 minutes after scheduled pick-up. Norden was disappointing but refunded as we were out and about. There was no rain. The weather was lovely, such a pity as we had been so looking forward to this experience ❤️ For this reason, I would recommend Lungta Cooperative only. Still going to give 5 stars as the Lungta Cooperative is breathtakingly beautiful, the views spectacular and the night sky awe-inspiring.

[Baoma 2] Charming Tibetan Style Hotel
Reviewed By inspirasian_to_goA charming hotel, which interior decoration in traditional Tibetan style. It's my favourite spot in town, rooms on the street side, are spacious and have a kang bed. Avoid the rooms (211) close by the stairs, very noisy. Labrang monastery is about 10-15min walking distance, from 8:30 you need to buy an entrance ticket, 40rmb/person. Local bread, yogurt and noodles next to the hotel, in the same street. Local shopping is good on one of the courtyards on the main street. There are also some restaurants. The hotel is definitely recommended!

Reviewed By LanceBombardierWe were here with a small Snow Leopard group of 14. The Aviation is central in what is a very small town and as good as anything here, I suspect. We had a sort of suite, bot with the most incredible ceilings, but with a typically Chinese bed that could have been concrete. Lovely dinner, ordinary breakfast. I'd stay here again

super beautiful family run hotel in Labrang
Reviewed By ritatojalTibetan Family Hotel is very beautiful & super comfortable :) it’s all decorated in Tibetan style and it’s Tibetan run. The food there is delicious!! It’s an easy walk from the to the Labrang monastery, and you can join the kora in the early morning. The family is very friendly and will take care of you during your stay :)
