Reviewed By Rico BHet is zo'n leuke plekje. Nederlandse gezelligheid at its best. You just feel at home. You are encouraged to make your lunch packet in the morning and help yourself to pour a drink in the evening. The restaurant/breakfast room feels like a sitting room of a house of people with an artistic edge. My kind of place. The hosts are very discreet and friendly. If you ever get close to Gelderland have a stopover here.

Reviewed By Mariska WAs a traveler from New Mexico, USA, I found this hotel on-line and booked 2 rooms for a couple of nights. Upon arrival, we were immediately greeted by the owner Jurgen who also advised us of the various activities in the area. Our rooms were spacious , clean and had excellent beds. The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was delicious, so we also tried dinner one night, where we enjoyed our meal in their gardens. All in all, we had a wonderful visit and will definitely be staying here again in the future!

Hmmm, different than 1st visit..mostly comfortable but...
Reviewed By christinaf539This is my second time staying here (on business), and after a long work day, I appreciate a sauna for my weary muscles. However, this visit was a bit disappointing because I was told that the sauna would be opened at a certain time, but it wasn't after all. So, my colleague went to ask receptionist, but she only speculated that someone was still in there. Instead of confirming if someone had key or indeed of going down to check to see if someone was in there, we were left to just wait. So, after an hour of knocking on door and asking for reception to check, I was forced to give up and I wonder how reception just failed to solve it. For all I know, someone had a heart attack in there and that could explain why no one answered my knocking. The same receptionist was helpful 1st time. 2nd was strange. Also, the bathroom in room reeked of mildew. Yuck. Needs better ventilation and maybe a good bleach clean.

Reviewed By yv610Lovely,lovely hotel in the middle of Winterswijk. The Stadmunster is the most charming atmospheric place to relax, converse, eat and drink, with excellent service and hospitality from owners and staff. Rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. Ideally situated in the square with buzzing bars and restaurants and a twice weekly market. It’s hard to find any faults!

De Borg B&B is located in the Achterhoek, a beautiful region in the east of the Netherlands near the German border. The area is ideal for hiking and cycling, making De Borg B&B the perfect starting point, right along various touristic routes. De Borg is a former farmhouse dating from the seventeenth century, but hasn't been used as such since 1995. In 2012 we, Wim and Hermien te Brummelstroete, converted part of the former farmhouse into 4 spacious rooms. The two rooms downstairs have their own kitchen and bathroom. The two rooms uptairs have both their own bathroom and also their own terrace overlooking a lovely green landscape. You can relax and enjoy a holiday in one of the most beautiful parts of the Netherlands!

The campsite is located in one of the most beautiful National Landscapes of the Netherlands. An ideal base for cyclists and walkers. Camping the Wieskamp is located 3 kilometers from the center of the charming and tourist center of Winterswijk. Camping Wieskamp has camping pitches, but also rents various accommodations such as Finnish bungalows, chalets and tents. There are also many facilities including a fine restaurant, swimming pool, indoor playground and recreation teams during holidays.
Used as a base to visit family in the town
Reviewed By Mark LA lovely campsite situated on the edge of the town. It was clean & very well run. Each camping pitch had its own toilet block( hut) something l had never seen before. Due to the nature of roads & cycle paths it was easy to get about the area. Whilst the site accepted English credit/debit cards, the restaurant on site didn't. I think due to the fact it caterers mainly for Dutch/ Germany visitors.

Reviewed By H VWarm welkom door beide eigenaren van deze bed and breakfast. Mooie schone ruime kamer met uitstelkende badkamer. Ontbijt is zeer ruim en met verse producten. De gezamenlijke ruimte is mooi ingericht. Vanuit deze bed and breakfast zijn prachtige fietsroutes te maken en je zit vlakbij een lekkere recreatieplas om te zwemmen!
