Great facility for sport events
Reviewed By LawgigalI didn't stay here but was part of an international competition so I spent everyday at the sport centre and ate at the hostel. The sport facility is excellent! Many activities to choose from and very clean. The snack bar offered good food as well. The food at the hostel was excellent.

A little bit of scandinavian heaven

Set at the far end of a quiet village, these flatlets are well appointed and maintained. The owners are friendly and helpful. They live next door, are on call if you need any assistance, but are not intrusive and respect your space and privacy. Have some reserves on what this place would be like in Winter, but in Summer, the view is absolutely stunning. If you are stocking groceries, no shops in the area, so buy your stuff enroute.

A somewhat mixed experience
Reviewed By 7700JutlandStayed there for two nights. The good Things first. The food was very good - a bit rural, but good. The rooms were good, but VERY noisy due to heavy traffic just outside the Windows, they ought to install sound reducing glass. The rooms were not too clean either, we found our share of cob-web. Thewaiters in the restaurand were very Young - but able.

Clean and functional bed and breakfast
Reviewed By LearmonthwandererI stayed in this bed and breakfast for 3 nights in a family room with two single beds and a set of bunk beds. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The host was warm and welcoming and accomodating of our changing arrival times. The family room shared a shower/toilet and separate toilet with other rooms in the property. I was happy with this arrangement, but others may not be. There is also a shared kitchen/dining area and seating area outside of the rooms. The kitchen is well equipped with a fridge / freezer and microwave. Breakfast is not included in the rate, but was 75DKK per person payable in cash. Breakfast was simple and continental style and included cold meats / cheeses, cereals, yoghurts, oranges/pears, selection of breads and jam. A hot option of soft boiled eggs was available. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate and a selection of fruit juices were also provided. The property is well placed to explore South Jutland and day and evening trips to Billund (40 minutes) and Ribe (20 minutes) were straightforward. Given the location and type of accommodation, we thought the property was well priced. This is not a 5* property or hotel standard given the shared facilities, so travellers should not expect this, but is clean, warm, spacious and comfortable with welcoming hosts.

Worst hotel stay in my life
Reviewed By Malin_GiselaAs someone who travels 200 days a year for work, I have stayed in my fair share of hotels and bed & breakfasts. I'm sad to say that this experience is the worst to this day. The member off staff I booked with over the phone was sweet but when we arrived later the same evening the hotel reception was actually the bar in a bowling alley. That sentence alone is bizarre... it was noisy and surreal to check in, in the middle of the local bowling team's practice on what must have been at least 10 lanes, right there in the reception area of the hotel. Not in a separate room - right there! I get my room and walk out to the separate building I've been told the room is in. The doors are flimsy and the locks too. In the long corridor truckers and builders are hanging out drinking canned beer. As I unlocked my door I was instantly hit by the strong, strong smell of vomit. Someone had obviously been sick all over my hotel room and it was like walking into a wall. My stomach instantly turned and the smell was so overpowering that I nearly threw up myself. I had been informed over the phone that the two rooms given to myself and my colleague were the last ones and we had also witnessed another builder trying to get a room but being turned away, as we checked in so I knew there were no other rooms. The room was dark and gloomy - turning the lights on did little to light it up and there was a single thin duvet folded over on half of the double bed. The extreme smell of vomit forced me to open the patio doors to let in the winter cold. There was STILL no way of breathing or spending any time in that room. The bathroom was even worse. The smell was so strong in there that I very nearly was sick myself as I poked my head inside and it is a MYSTERY to me how a cleaning service could enter that room, put new sheets on the bed and stay in there for long enough to clean up after the last guests. I'm a tough cookie and not overly sensitive to things but the smell was so awful that staying in there for more than a couple of minutes was completely impossible. The reception staff at the hotel left and closed up at 9.15pm so there was no one to speak to about the problem. Instead I moved my things back into the car and left for dinner with my colleague, leaving the patio door open to try to air it out. We were gone for 3 hours and when we returned the smell was still just as bad. I was forced to keep the bathroom door completely shut to even be able to enter the room and I ended up getting ready for the night in my colleagues room. Sleeping in that room would have been absolutely impossible and it is insane to think that someone deemed it okay to continue to rent that room out in that condition! To charge someone for a stay in a room that STINKS of vomit isn't right and it shouldn't have been offered to us in the first place. If a room needs professional cleaning and airing out before you rent it out again you charge the guest that threw up all over it for the clean and you don't rent it out again until it's smell free! Disgusted with the fact that they tried it and would never, ever return again. There are other nearby options and it's a 25 drive to Kolding or Esbjerg where you can stay in a comfortable Comwell or Scandic for the same price or a little bit more and you're guaranteed proper hotel staff and standards. This hotel is a joke!

Reviewed By Alin CThe hotel its in the middle of nowhere, nothing close to the hotel, the room its average , but clean, the bathroom it's very cold and the shower it's on the ground, the wifi it's very poor , the reception close at 9pm , the breakfast it's not so complex, only few choices. I stayed here only 3 nights , I will not come back.

Reviewed By Expedition392357Havde booket en bowlingbane i en time via telefon. Jeg gentog flere gange at det skulle være fra 11 til 12. Kom derud ti minutter før tid, og fik den besked at de havde lejet den til anden side, og at vi desuden slet ikke stod i deres system. Da jeg spørger ind til hvordan det kan ske, får jeg beskeden at de jo ikke kan vide hvad der er sket, men at det jo nok var os selv der havde fejlet. Der var slet ingen vilje til hverken at tage ansvar eller forsøge at løse miseren. Står tilbage med oplevelsen af en særdeles arrogant herre, der hellere ville tilbage til sin kaffe end at tage ansvar.
