Kitchen is well equipped with added extras like glad wrap and foil etc. Cleanliness was outstanding. We stayed in unit 3. A good supermarket within walking distance as well as town centre a bit further stroll on. Highly recommend

Beautiful old historic home
Reviewed By Nevest61We stayed 4 nights at the Manor, it is a lovely old home. We were warmly welcomed by Lincoln and all the staff. The rooms are comfortable and warm. The breakfast was included, consisting of yoghurt & berries, pastries and fresh fruit. There are many fireplaces within the home and it is nice to sit comfortably in front of one while chatting with fellow guests. We would highly recommend staying at Franklin Manor.

A nice place to stay
Reviewed By gins388Our standard 2 bedroom unit at Marsden Court was very clean and comfortable. The unit was stocked with the usual tea, coffee and milk, clean cutlery and crockery and a small kitchen including a microwave with parking out the front of the unit. The beds were very comfortable and Sharon, our host was helpful with what to see and do. I would have no hesitation staying here again.

Ormiston House is a beautiful federation mansion built in 1899 and fully restored to its former glory. Set amongst landscaped gardens on the shore of Macquarie Harbour at Strahan the house is resplendent with 5 en-suited guest rooms, bar and lounge, breakfast room and history room. The tower and widows walk provide views across the harbour and the perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine or sit back with a good book. This house is renown for its friendliness, hospitality and welcoming hosts. We feel that Ormiston House is a "must do" experience when you visit Strahan on your Tasmanian holiday.
Faded Federation B&B
Reviewed By CherryF359Accommodation is very hard to find in Strahan and we were relieved to find this delightful sounding heritage B&B for 2 nights. Prior to arrival the owner contacted us and provided excellent driving recommendations with interesting stops as well as a list of local restaurants to book for dinner. On the plus side our room and ensuite were spacious and clean. The bed comfy with good quality linen and towels changed daily. The continental breakfast was of a good standard. The young couple managing it were welcoming, informative and hard working. Nothing however could make up for the neglected garden and sad disused garden furniture. We arrived on a beautiful day and hoped to have tea in the garden but not a hope! The beautiful front entrance is out of use. The wallpaper in our room was lifting and all the woodwork badly chipped. The internal communal lounge and bar and breakfast room were clean but dark and unwelcoming rooms. We felt for the couple running it. It’s hay day was a very long time ago and an enormous amount of money, time and energy is needed to restore it to its former glory. It was fine, but promised so much more.

Reviewed By NodronWe stayed in one of the waterfront rooms. It was a very convenient location as it was close to everything. We parked the car and did not need to use it while in Strahan. We chose to do the Gordon River cruise and I could not recommend this highly enough, the staff were wonderful and we bought the scenery was truly spectacular.

Great motel in quiet location of Strahan.
Reviewed By 96JAMNCSpacious rooms with standard motel amenities, however we did enjoy the Nespresso machine for early morning coffees. A nice, rustically presented breakfast was provided. Great friendly staff. When we asked to stay an extra night and they did not have a vacancy, however were very helpful to look for alternate places within Strahan for us.

We are a family friendly cabin and caravan park located directly next to Strahan Beach. We are within walking distance to the Gordon River Cruises and Town Centre. Located opposite us is a take away store and bottle shop.

BIG4 Strahan Holiday Retreat is situated on 8 acres of tall trees and Platypus streams. Perfect for families or large groups. There is an eclectic mix of cottages and cabins that range from Studios to four bedrooms homes. Most accommodation is larger than average with room to move and fully equipped with everything you need for an overnight stay or longer. Serviced and un-serviced sites offer camp kitchens and family bathrooms. There is a Cafe and shop on-site and a tour desk and activity hire. Bikes and Kayaks are available plus sandboards , beach cricket etc.

Reviewed By 291oliviatI loved this park, its big with lots of sites and cabins. The grounds are nice with a river running through. Bbqs and a laundry and my favourite was the amenities, separate little ensuites with a shower, toilet and basin which was nice. The only thing I would like to see is a camp kitchen, there was a small open air type kitchen but not a lot in there. This time of year is quiet but I imagine in summer would be busy. I recommend a stop here for a few nights for sure.

Reviewed By Damian TWe stayed in the Suites with double bed and bunk bed. Hosts are really friendly. The kids enjoyed the pets walking around the place. Playground for the kids. Excellent complementary facilities such as the Laundry and the free BBQ area. The place has beautiful views across Strahan Harbour.

Strahan Bungalows are 4 star, quality, fully self-contained two bedroom apartments. Winner of the 2009 Tasmanian Tourism People's Choice Award and Trip Advisor's Certificate of Excellence 2013.Well appointed, spotlessly clean, tastefully designed and decorated in a nautical theme. The Bungalows have a queen bed in 1st bedroom and 2 singles in the 2nd; one has an extra single bed. One is fitted with disabled facilities. All have double glazing, and fully insulated, electric heating and all the comforts of home. Laundry facilities include washer, dryer, washing powder, clothes line & pegs, clothes airer and iron & ironing board. Off street parking right at your door. 2 minute drive to the town centre & major attractions. We have a wealth of local information. Our motto is "Your comfort is our pleasure".

Reviewed By CandN07Lovely clean unit. Had everything we needed for a 2 night stay. 10-15 minute walk to wharf for Gordon river cruise. Some noise from adjacent unit which was close to ours. Pay laundry facilities on site. Friendly host. List of local places to eat provided in room. Perfect for short family stay although kids complained about particularly poor WiFi.
