Reviewed By MattBondPlus: The staff is very friendly, speaks good english (not so common in Russia), very helpful. Room was standard twin room, very clean, well equipped, fridge, kettle, coffee machine and plenty of coffee and tea. I was very surprised with the bottled water was not only waiting for us, but also restocked once we drank it. Beds were comfortable, good pillows. Air-conditioning is also in the room and is very quiet. Generally it was a good choice, no complaints. There is also gym and pool, but we didn't have time to even visit. The restaurant down stairs, which is not part of the hotel, but a cross the lobby, cooks very delicious food, with plenty of options, mostly Russian specialties. Minuses: We had a room on 2nd floor, so the view from the room was wall and roof of building next to the hotel. Not that we had time to look out of window much. There were no nets on the window, so I think in summer, bugs could fly in if you open the window in the evening to clear the air. Better to leave window open for ventilation whole day and then close it and use AC. Staff in the restaurant (not part of the hotel!) speaks very little english. They do have the english menu though. Problem was, that for breakfast, we had to wait several times almost one hour (we arrived around 8:30am) for basic omelet. But it did taste great.

Room was spacious and clean, well equipped. Selection of 10 pillows, from ortho to herbal offered free of charge. Very friendly and helpful staff on reception, in restaurant and cleaning. Really well equipped medical center on first two floors on the hotel with focus on physiotherapist. I took 4 anti allergic baths and 4 mud treatments for my junctions and was charged only 120 euro for all. Cons: Pool area is too crowdy and noisy to relax. Food is quite average, choice is poor and lines are not properly organised.

Contents of minibar low quality and not very special. Staff in spa very grumpy and unfriendly. Breakfast not v good, v cramped and busy area. Fresh orange juice mixed with concentrate. Cheap, unattractive place mats on tables. food at breakfast was mostly cold. Interior design in breakfast cafe very old and not very nice. Dark room, hasn't been refurbed for a v long time. Lobby area cluttered with unattractive nick-nacks and strange soft-toy shop. Old chairs in lobby, look like they were fashionable maybe 20 years ago. Staff not apologetic over delays to service. No slippers or dressing-gowns in the spa. Bar staff grumpy and not friendly. Not 5-star service.

I received email from staff before arriving if we have any requests which was unexpected and thoughtful. Even though we arrived in the middle of the night, checkin was quick and painless. Breakfast choices each day were great and for any taste. Even live music was present during breakfast hours. It was very pleasant and relaxing experience. Rooms are very clean and enjoyable to stay. Definitely recommend everyone to stay here.

Reviewed By 234tomlHotel Attache is great from beginning to end. I arranged to have hotel car meet me at the airport, 3:15 am. More expensive than a taxi but reliable and convenient. Check-in was quick. Hotel staff are helpful and accommodating. My room was a corner room with balcony, very bright, clean, and roomy. If you pick the room rate with breakfast buffet, it also includes a complimentary, limited-menu dinner at the hotel restaurant. Food is excellent and staff are great. Location of hotel is wonderful. Just off the main street Bolshaya Sadovaya, close to tourist points of interest, the Rostov Musical Theater, Philharmonic, Rostov Circus, and others. A short walk to the embankment. Many shops and restaurants nearby, and wonderful area for pleasant walks. A computer is available for use in the lobby. Hotel has only 42 rooms so hotel service is attentive and personal. Highly recommend Hotel Attache!
