Dirty and hot

Reviewed By ElleV82

I would not recommend this hotel and will not return. Whoever the cleaner is doesn’t care. The extraction fan in shower didn’t work because it’s so filthy. Freezer full of ice as hasn’t been defrosted in months. Spiders, webs, large moths. Don’t get me started on the carpet. Yuck. Only this the sheets and towels were clean and I expect that’s only because a linen service does it.

Nice Location

Reviewed By peter452012

The room was clean and well maintained but quite small. It was just an overnight stay so was not a problem. The weather was windy and cold so drove around instead of taking some great walks around the harbour. Robe is a really nice town. The motel is quite expensive though, and seems to have been newly converted from another dwelling. Friendly staff.

Lakeview lacking

Reviewed By suzannegai

We arrived at this run down motel, settled into our room and there was no water! When asked, the management told us there were repairs going on and it would be about 40 minutes until the water was turned on. The room was shabby and the door leading to the balcony was rotting and dirty. Similarly, the front door area was dirty. Not a good experience.

Outdated and grubby accommodation

Reviewed By Flamingo3820

The room was grubby, the shower head blocked, the room very dated, the toilet and wash basement n stained, mirrors losing their reflective backing. The view however was great, but opening the door on to the balcony was an issue and I did not feel safe on the crumbling balcony. I understand that the Hotel was recently sold - I hope that the new owners modernise. Our evening meal in the bistro was quite good and the staff were friendly and personable.

Well maintained park

Reviewed By BilferG

We recently stayed four nights in a modern waterfront cabin. It had a great layout with comfortable seating in the lounge dine area and the bed allowed for a great nights sleep. A seperate toilet was most convenient. We used the communal BBQ which was spotless. The beautiful Long Beach is a few minutes walk across the road and we enjoyed the scenic walk into town. The park was well kept and although we didn’t use the heated pool we plan to next time! Robe is a lovely town and we are glad we chose this particular accommodation and park to stay.

Fantastic stay

Reviewed By Traharb

We recently camped at the park for 8 nights and absolutely loved it. We were in our camper trailer and were on site 102, close to the toilets and showers which were spotless, and a bbq area. The sites were lovely with trees everywhere and the sites spacious, even over the March long weekend, we never felt like we were squashed in together. We took our dog ruby and walked into town nearly everyday and loved the wonderful walking tracks, and the history of the town. Drove on the beach at long beach which was fantastic. The only criticism I have is the internet was pretty much non existent over the side we were on. Something that would have been good to know when we booked in. The girl in the office, wasn’t much help when I enquired if there was a problem with the Internet. Apart from that it was a brilliant stay, and I highly recommend this park.

Hospitality terrible

Reviewed By 249glynisb

Over all experience was terrible, I don’t think they know what hospitality means, we where advised by trip advisor to return the next day for a refund, we where swore at then told to leave town and never come back, seriously this was not called for.
