The establishment is split in two parts, the Reception, a Restaurant and Rooms located more inland (about 2 streets away from the beach) and a Dive Centre with a few rooms (which is where we stayed for 6 nights in May 2022). These rooms are beachfront & even though they are located right on a public section on beach, there is still a sense of privacy and exclusivity. We were looking to experience a more local and authentic side of the Maldives while still being comfortable & Shallow Lagoon certainly delivered. The rooms were well appointed, clean and spacious. The restaurant and staff were very welcoming and friendly. We were lucky enough to be the only tourists, so we essentially had private tours & excursions. All the guides and staff made sure we had a great experience. The dives were great, the corals and sea life were abundant and in great condition (something you see less of at the commercial resorts) A note to future travellers: Take some mosquito repellant, ladies remember it is a local island, so you will need to dress more conservatively when in town or in public areas, don't forget to try all the other local restaurants on the Island. Thanks Shallow Lagoon, we would definitely recommend you and return given the opportunity.

Reviewed By svetlanamS4148YHWe had lovely holidays in Aqua Blu Rashdoo in December 2021. The staff was very friendly and kind. Very good place for snorkeling. We hope to come here again. Sandbank Madivaru is must to see! Turtles, mantas and a lot of beautiful corals.

The small number of rooms makes the place even better, calmer and perfect to unwind. The staff is amazing, always there for you, fresh fruit juice, fresh food cooked on site, always helpful. They arrange everything so your stay is incredible. We booked the night fishing excursion and it was fabulous. We caught fish and ate them at Tranquila. The staff barbecued the fish and laid a beautiful table by the beach. What an amazing evening.

Beach Cottage is located in north east side of rasdhoo with six deluxe rooms. All rooms are air conditioned with hot water shower, mini bar, in room safe. Beach and garden area gives you tranquility and a chance to explore amazing night sky of Maldives and have a beach front of the guesthouse. We do diving and many other activities and transfer to give our guests a memorable stay. At the beach cottage is available breakfast $6 for person. All of service can request at property.

Air conditioning works great, nice white cotton sheet, the location is good on this small island. Everything in walking distance. It is in a quiet nice location just by the beach and a small stone pier from which we went snorkelling many times every day. The boss Nixaam is sweet as honey (WhatsApp +9609801516). You may organise your trip with him directly. He will help you organising your speed boat transfer from Male to Rasdhoo and receive you st the Rashdoo pier. Nixaam will also help you for diving and trips when you will be at his place. He will lend you snorkelling gear for free (excellent reef snorkeling). We stayed at the Rasdhoo Beach Cottage for more than one week and were so happy. A harmonious piece of living by the sea, shared with the local Maldivians. We are dreaming to go back.

Hey I’m here in Maldives. I’m happy, I’m blessed, and I’m thankful. By the way, the owner and staff are amazing. Especially the son Abdulla of the owner is an amazing manager. Stay here, you won’t regret it!!! I love Maldives!!!

Room in great, cleaned every 2 days. Location is also awesome: close to main restaurants, beach and harbor. They have their own scuba-diving school, so even more recommended to stay here if you are a diver. When you feel you will come back to somewhere, definitely means you stay could have not been better.
